Sopranos on Southbank

After a long & tedious day, 2 hr drive in terrible weather, was really craving Thai, but staying directly next door to Sopranos opted to just "get a pizza".
Best! Decision!
Was greeted by the most beautiful staff, watched chef put this together, and was in my hands in about ten minutes flat!
Had planned to have half for dinner & save half for lunch tomorrow.... smashed the whole thing - every mouthful just as good as the last - my mouth is still singing, this not only was a picture perfect pizza, but SOOO delicious too!

I will be back guys! :)

Staff were amazing, meal was lovely. I had lasagna and my husband had pizza. We were very happy with our meal and service. Price was also great being a restaurant on Southbank.

Everything cooked beautifully and huge servings, we didn't have any room left for dessert and we're looking forward trying the Nutella pizza (i believe you have to order it in advance of your visit) so that's in my to do list next time we go again to the Soprano's Restaurant.
We made a bookig and went on a Thursday night, the restaurant was not too crowded and we could enjoy our meal while talking. It was a great evening.

I highly recommend the Pasta Marinera brought memories back of my friends cooking in Sardinia, Italy.

Food is great and reasonably priced. Down side no desert's available and no split bills.

We had Risotto and Veal Scallopini Funghi and both were fantastic. Loved the taste and shape. We had a Latte after and it was very good too. Loved the place, food and service and already referred to some friends.

I have been coming to Melbourne for work and holidays for 15yrs and this was the first time at Sopranos. Absolutely brilliant food and service. Best meal to date in Melbourne and would highly recommend for people to visit. Amazing atmosphere.

By far the best Italian restaurant in the region, I try something different every time, I suggest you try it for your self, I love the Veal scallopini ❤

11/10 service! We had a big group of girl guides to feed on camp. The team was amazing, they made our order quickly, and the food was fantastic. The lovely Carmen was so polite and helpful, she even helped us carry our pizzas back to where we seated.

Had a lovely, relaxed dining experience here last Saturday night. My partner and I shared a Gnocchi Amatriciana and Mexicana Pizza that were delicious. Service was friendly and helpful, providing extra plates and cutlery to make it easier for us to share the meals. Even the house wines were very palatable. Would not hesitate to go back again.

OMG what a fabulous night we had at Soprano's Restaurant. The staff were amazing - friendly, accommodating, efficient. I organised a very impromptu surprise party for 14 people two days before the actual date and they didn't hesitate to get it all happening for us. Super grateful. The food was absolutely divine. Serves were generous without being over the top. Delicious, authentic Italian. A little restaurant tucked away on City Rd South Melbourne that is absolutely worth checking out. We will be going back for sure! Everyone had a great experience here. Thank you so much to you guys for everything you did to make our night truly one to remember!

What a pleasure to accidentally come across this prestigious pizzeria. Parking close by to go attend the football and decided get dinner pre game.
Unfortunately! They were booked out and couldn't cater for a group of 6 at the last minute. Still worth asking if passing, otherwise I would highly recommend pre-booking. After the fantastic professional courteous service, we decided to order takeaway. Very busy with many also trying to try and get sit down service and also order takeaway. So uniquely set up with their seating for dining and also takeaway service. The pizza, garlic bread and hot chips were absolutely delicious. Definitely looking forward to coming here again real soon.
Off street parking available and waiting time, even though immensely busy was very minimal. Thank you to all working there as it was a great start to a great night at the football and also seeing the sights of Melbourne.

I enjoyed the food so much, I didn't want to eat anywhere else while I was staying in Southbank, in early January. Sopranos made an enjoyable holiday in melbourne even better for me, my support worker and my seeing Eye Dog, Ellis. Viva Sopranos! Keep serving the veal with the garlic sauce! It's an absolute dream!

Ordered pickup from their website while staying at the nearby Oaks. Got a carbonara and a meatball pasta dish with garlic bread, picked up some booze at the IGA across the corridor. Perfection! The meatballs weren’t your ikea breadcrumb padded fluff, they were full, generously sized, rich and well seasoned. The carbonara was also amazing. Great pre-concert carb loading. Delicious and generous serve, good prices and friendly staff. Do recommend.

First night in Melbourne, 9pm on a Thursday night and they served up one heck of a pizza. Absolutely loaded with toppings, cooked to perfection and good value to boot.

In Perth you'd be lucky to find a place like this.

We stayed at Adina apartments for the weekend, and found this Gem, a stone throw away (right next door) 🙏 we didn't have a reservation, however we were welcomed in regardless, and served promptly by a wonderfully mannered waitress. our food came out quick, and it was amazing, the servings were MASSIVE and the prices were very affordable. Have recommended this restaurant to all my friends, and will definitely be returning to try other dishs... We are very picky when it comes to Italian food, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ easy👌
