The owner goes out of his way to be friendly, kind and informative. I only needed 2 slot cars, he told me he was sure it was a certain compatibility but I should bring one of my cars to be sure. No sales pressure, he even told me about digital slot cars.. The boys in RC all know their stuff and are no pressure kind of staff. The store layout is excellent A1. Congratulations team. Ill be back with my son.

I recently had to go in to Metro Hobbies for a birthday gift for my husband. I was welcomed by all staff and promptly assisted with my purchase of an RC car. I was a bit out of my depth but was helped with fitting of batteries and chargers and felt confident in my purchase. I really appreciated the help today and my kids had a blast in store. Highly recommend, it made an overwhelming purchase very easy for me. Would definitely go back if I needed anything else.

I usually go to Box Hill's shop and buy 'LOZ,' which are small brick pieces. They’re marvelous, super cute, and awesome!
Staff are friendly and helpful. I am literally obsessed with this and find myself wanting to buy it every week :D

Metro Hobbies is a great store, stock neatly arranged and staff helpful and enthusiastic. A good place for a beginner to a hobby to go and not feel overwhelmed.
You probably could buy things online cheaper but the actual service from a real person is what makes visiting your local hobby shop worthwhile.

some other hobby stores are a bit cheaper, but a massive range for all hobby lovers

Regret selling my old plasma edge, I'm in a hunt for a new one. Unfortunately no stock Australia wide. Emailed the sales team for preorder availability, Sarah on the other side managed to secured one for me. Update on ETA is as simple email away and replied promptly as well. I have shopped in-store and online and the service was excellent. Friendly staff always happy and willing to give advice, and a great, robust website with very quick delivery. Items come neatly packaged and never damaged, postage is free for orders over $50.
Good prices on most model kits and frequent sales make this place good value too.

They try to make your shopping experience memorable. Which it ,certainly should all the merchandise and accessories available it should please every shopper .The only thing l would suggest is do make a shopping list ,on what you are after as once you enter the store l am sure you will be wondering where do l start. Just show me the way. Suited for the beginner modellers to the most experienced and savvy modeller. Something for everyone The staff are very friendly and experienced in what they know and do . They all have their own area of expertise, just ask, they do not bite.
