BWS Southbank

I ordered a bottle of something special to spoil my daughter whilst she was staying at the Langham Hotel. I used the order on-line option and it was brilliant. Champagne delivered cold and so fast! Fantastic service and a very easy process - thanks so much 💕

For the first time i got a good recommendation from BWS, i was looking for moscato and a young man so happen to know about it and help me with it, It was on Friday 21 July 2023 1.30pm. I just tried the "Brown and co a little dry moscato" today and really love it! Thanks for the great recommendation.

What a lovely store! Everything was super clean and organised. There were lots of posters informing people of how BWS supports queerness, which made the atmosphere feel very relaxed and accepting. The worker who was on that day was called Benny and they were very cheery, asking me if I needed any help on selecting my beverages. They informed me about the promotion they have going on a wine thats profits support a queer charity, and later Benny helped me with my wine selection. Also, as I was browsing, I heard Benny speaking what sounded like Swedish or Norwegian to another customer. I was very impressed. Overall they were incredibly accommodating and I will 100% be returning. Fabulous.

Good enough variety for a store its size, can find most of the popular drinks here. Decent pricing with decent sales, not overpriced. Clean. Accessible with enough space to manoeuvre around. Staff seemed friendly. It's linked to the Woolworths Rewards membership program (Everyday Rewards) so don't forget to scan your barcode to earn points.

Nice small shop good variety.

Open later than Dan's so very handy at times 🍻

Euine is so disrespectful. Poor customer service. I go to this store everyday. Will never go again. He was agro cos I opened a drink whilst next in line (never drink any) and told me off. Then when I got to the counter said we not a bloody bar don’t do that after saying sorry multiple times. Will sus his attitude when he comes across me.

There was a guy with long hair and moustache, who appeared to be the manager of the store. We were very shocked how rude and aggressive he was. He refused to help and even listen to us, while we were just trying to explain an issue about the very recent transaction in a calm way.
If I could give zero stars I would.

Waited 10 mins to watch the staff here struggle with processing payments. Then when I got my turn at the service he didn't know if the particular wine I was after was in stock also didn't know to find it. He spent a min trying to find it then walked off to "serve other customers"... his own words. Get better staff or train them on customer service

There was a guy with long hair who served my sister and friend. If I could give zero stars I would because of how rude he was. A group of white girls who appeared fairly young walked in and he didn’t check their ID however my sister and friend walked in while I was minding 8 bags shopping near the entrance of the mall and he refused to serve them until I showed my ID too. Definitely won’t go back there again.
