Ram Park

A must see if visiting Blackall. Go and do the guided tour given by local Stewart, an Aussie icon. He is a wealth of knowledge and has the old Aussie sense of humour. He is the backbone of this wonderful museum. He has restored the machinery to working order and gives demonstrations of the workings of some of the machinery.

Great place recording history of Blackall and surrounds. Stewart Benson, retired Blackall drover is an outstanding guide. He has the backstory on all the exhibits. He intersperses his life’s activities in with the exhibits, bringing the mm alive. Stewart does a mean whip cracking exhibition as well.

Absolutely loved it! Walking around and checking out the buildings and artefacts from a bygone era.

Stewart that runs the tours (and I suspect the whole thing ) is such an asset to your town. Council should consider giving him another shed so he can display and protect many more items. Very good tourist attraction for your town

Steward gave the most outstanding 10:00 tour and the work he has put in here is wonderful.

Local store, history and just to see the gear they have restored and got working is brilliant.

Well worth a drop in and we will be back if we can.

If you're at all interested in some of Blackall's history then the 10am tour at Ram Park needs to be on your list. We had a visit at the town caravan camp from a real character by the name of Stewart Benson. Stewart runs the tour and has lived all of the history contained at the museum which you can get for just a donation. What a legend, great tour!

Best morning entertainment in a long while.
Very informative, funny and totally politically incorrect. A dedicated local, ex drover with a passion for Blackall and its history. Thoroughly recommend it and take the hat around afterwards as it's a free tour and far better than others we have done recently for $$$$$.

All I can say is "Excellent..." never been told about this attraction more should be done by local council to support this local historical collection,
(some that have been restored to working order)

Great little park with lots of vintage machinery. Stop by on the way through Blackall. Access is off the main road.

It was very good. Lots of old historical items to bring back some memories.

Worth turning up at 10am to get a tour and a lot more background and stories.

Some really old machinery there was free to look around I enjoyed it
