Great booking experience, very accomodating to my families needs for our last minute holiday.
Called the office to clarify something and the girl I spoke to was lovely and very helpful! The property was beautiful as well, Will book again for our next coastal holiday!

I just called today (09/02/2021 at 9:30am).
The most unpleasant lady answered the phone.
I have used this website plenty of times with my friends and we never had a problem.
But today this lady treated me with upmost uninterest.
Sorry, but when I want to book a 1000 dollars per night house you can not treat me with the rude maners you demonstrated.

Don't bother to read their online prices, they change depending on their mood. We had a similar experience to previous reviewer. Airbnb is an advertising platform only. Very frustrating to deal with.

This property is advertised as a ‘private escape’ it is anything but with permanent renters and their guests also at the property. The windows of their bedroom look directly into the bathroom. Would not have booked this property had we known it was shared accommodation.
We are incredibly disappointed with the misleading and false advertising that this was a full property to be rented - be warned this is a shared property. If you access the grounds, deck you will be visible to the permanent renters.

The property managers offered minimal compensation of $400, not even a full night stay was reimbursed. The house itself could do with a thorough clean.
We had to clean ourselves on arrival. Outdoor area and bbq is dirty and unusable. No tea towels provided, dirty glasses, linen was also unclean on two of the beds.

We are regular travellers and have never experienced this type of false advertising or poor service from the owners. Please book elsewhere an absolute waste of money.

We have a large and pet friendly house in Torquay which is available for rent on several platforms, including GOR. But we have had only one booking from them for almost 3 years, and several hosts in the area, previously with GOR, have told us the same. Evidently their business is suffering from the newer platforms, (and they have their favourite hosts to look after too.)

We received only one review on their website, a nasty one 4 years ago from some English whingers. We have repeatedly asked GOR to remove it, or at least to afford us the right to reply. They simply ignored it.

This attitude is grounded in what they thought as market power, before the newer platforms arrived. Upon inquiry for one of their properties, we discovered that none of their hosts (except us) provide WiFi. This should give prospective hosts, and guests, some pause for thought.

You can't book with Airbnb despite they use the platform to advertise. Their renting business plan is simple:They wont follow up your booking request on Airbnb, request later money with their own website, don't offer cleaning services and finally request that you will do clean by yourself despite paying more than $300/n.

Terrible service. Try this for lack of professionalism:

1. Be careful when you book as you get some nasty additions on top of the quoted price (such as booking fees).
2. David (the owner of the business) is never wrong and describing him as rude would be an understatement.
3. Finally, on the day of checkout, we were called and told to leave the property two hours earlier than they'd advised, because they'd got another booking.

Seriously, there are lots of agents. Use another agent. ANY other agent.

Be careful if you are a pet owner. Properties these guys manage are listed as pet friendly on popular websites but pets are not allowed inside at any time of the year and extra fees are then charged on top. I do not understand how these properties can be listed as pet friendly. Misleading advertising

Don't use these guys. Changed the check out times at the last minute as mentioned by other reviewers.

When a company starts reading you terms and conditions when your only three minutes into negotiating you know things are going to be disappointing. Thanks Lily.

Stay away. Bad news.

Terrible at replying and helping their customers. Highly recommended not to bother dealing with this company
