Beautiful independent bookstore located in the idyllic seaside town of Aireys Inlet.

The two ladies working when I visited were very cheery and had a really good foundational knowledge of literature and the wares they were selling.

They stocked a great deal of books for the smaller space of the store. The owners have managed to fill it to the brim with all sorts of wonders without making it overcrowded or hard to move around. Books available were from all genres and an array of time periods, there were plenty of options to please readers of all ages.

Whomever spends their days combing through the multitude of options out there has done an epic selection job. Every one I picked up was interesting and intriguing and I wanted them all! To all you book worms out there - I highly recommend - if you're ever in the area drop in, say hi and lose yourself in the relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

Great Escape Books is a brilliant book shop stocking a wide range of new release fiction & non-fiction titles as well as an excellent range of children's books, jigsaws and games all at good prices. Noted as one of the best bookshops outside of Melbourne, highly worth a visit.

Amazing business and customer service !! I had ordered a book from here and the parcel went missing (not their fault at all btw), and they were so helpful in helping me try to locate it. When my parcel couldn’t be located they resent the book for me free of charge! Awesome staff :)

If you love books and the experience of books, this place is a must to stop at. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and whenever I've asked for a recommendation they have always come up with the goods. A great place to take kids for a treat. love this bookshop!

This is a wonderful store! Whenever I'm down the coast I always pop in to browse and buy. The range of books available is abundant and there are comfy couches on which you can sit whilst looking through a book.
If ever you're heading down the Great Ocean Road I implore you to visit!

Went to Karen Viggers launching her novel "The Orchardists Daughter" tonight. Worth the drive from Geelong & a lovely little independent bookshop with great amount of stock. If you love good books do yourself a favour and call in here. Lots of wonderful childrens books as well.
