We attended one of Sylvia’s chocolate-making workshops with a group of friends, and had a fantastic time! The class was very informative, and I cannot believe how well our chocolates turned out. Beautiful and delicious. Sylvia is a brilliant teacher, and a very interesting person as well. I’ve recommended the class to just about every person I’ve spoken to since!

Really enjoyed the class with Sylvia. Extremely informative & showed us quire a few different methods of chocolate moulding. The first thing you notice is the incredible smell & you have plenty of chocolate during the class. There is also a little shop at the front to by anything you need. Definitely worth a try!

Could not recommend more highly the Chocolate Making Workshop! It was a birthday gift for my niece, and we honestly had the best afternoon! You can really tell that Sylvia loves her craft and took great delight in explaining the history of chocolate and how to tell the difference between couverture and imitation chocolate! Loved learning how to temper chocolate and make ganache but the best part by far is that everything you create is beautifully packaged to take home! Thank you for a wonderful memory! Only downside is that I've eaten half my box of chocolates already!!!!

My wife and i attended Sylvias level 1 chocolate class on the weekend, just wanted to leave a review saying i thought it was pretty cool. Sylvia is very knowledgeable and her instruction was clear and straightforward, i would recommend the class to anyone interested, it takes about 4 hours and you make milk and dark chocolates with different ganache fillings as well as some turffles. you dont make the ganaches but you do all the tempering of the chocolate and the construction of the chocolates using molds.

Came in for a chocolate making class! Great fun and the chocolates were fantastic! Sylvia was a pleasure to talk to and learn from! Thanks once again!

I attended the level 1 - introductory chocolate making class last week and I was blown away by how much I learned within the four hour workshop. Sylvia was extremely generous in sharing her knowledge and when I left I had confidence in my ability to make chocolates that look just like a bought one! The atmosphere in the workshop was friendly and supportive. Not only was the workshop great, but so were the chocolates! A big thanks to Adam for making a delicious hot chocolate for supper.

I highly recommend this experience for someone wanting to build their knowledge and techniques in chocolate making; friends who want a fun four hours with some yummy treats to take home; or, as a gift for someone that has everything! I attended the workshop on my own and Sylvia made me feel very welcome.

We had a delightful experience learning how to make chocolate here. Sylvia is really friendly and engaging - she certainly is a chocolate expert!! I tried flavours that I'd previously never thought I would like - everything is delicious! It is apparent that a lot of thought and effort happens behind the scenes, even before people arrive. The whole experience was very well prepared, enjoyable and delicious! Thee chocolates we made and took home not only looked amazing. They were also delicious and of very good quality.

Fantastic afternoon learning, eating and making chocolate. Small group and very hands on. Also delicious biscuits for afternoon tea.

My daughter and I have had a lovely afternoon learning how to make delicious treats. Sylvia is a passionate instructor who clearly wants you to know all there is to learn about chocolate. Let it rest with a comforting mug of hot cocoa, bites of chocolates and getting to know each other over arguably the best topic in the world; CHOCOLATE!

You’ll end up with a great time full of experience, lots of knowledge and plenty of chocolate and laughs for good measure!

Highly recommend Sylvia, the class is well structured and generously catered for. You’ll feel right at home almost immediately, like you’re meeting old friends over chocolate!

Tips:

Wear COMFY shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a bit of accidental chocolate on. Chocolate is a messy craft like any other type of cooking.

Do NOT do arm day at the gym in the lead up to the class. They’ll get a great workout from crafting chocolate!

Free parking is available right in front of the shop on Canterbury Rd.

Such a wonderful business with a wealth of knowledge and information on chocolate. They know their stuff. Highly recommend the chocolate making course. It is a lot of fun and obviously get to make some delicious chocolates from scratch. Sylvia is a true chocolatier.

and money. Sylvia and Adam were very welcoming, professional and made it a memorable experience for the team. We tried 4 splendid cookie/shortbread sissy's unique recipes (orange chocolate filling and chocolate ganache)! Generous take home of 1kg biscuits...much more to gain! Highly recommend!

Good quality chocolate. A go to if you wish to buy chocolate to make gifts for Christmas or other occasions. You can even take classes which I have on my to do list!
