Aireys Inlet Fish & Chips

We ordered family meal for 2 pax that included 2 pieces of flak, 2 calamari, 2 pieces of prawn and 2 pieces of scallop, spicy prawn tacos and classic chicken burger. Food is fantastic. Only giving service 3 star coz is self-service and atmosphere 3-star coz is starting of summer and hence the irritating flies. But I definitely will go back for more despite the flies.

Friendly staff and really good food. The chips are cut large and all the deep fried stuff is super crispy. Definitely worth the stop for lunch.

One of the best fish and chips I've had in Melbourne. Pretty expensive tho. The fish also has scales and bones. Fries weren't the best and the sauces are sold separately, the sweet chilli was the best sauce and their salt could be a little lesser. Not many seats.

Dropped by in late afternoon to grab a snack from a break of hopping of lookout points along the GO road. There were still queue of like 5, 6 group of people at this late hour after lunch. We ordered a battered blue grenadier from their Fresh Fish special menu of the day, and it didn’t disappoint. Crispy batter on a slide of very fresh and tasty fish. It was quite big in size and so quite value for money. We were also appreciate for the funny and friendly staffs of the store.

Great food, cooked fresh and tasted great. The money was worth the quality of food. I'd stop again on the next trip.

We stopped by for dinner and had our food sat in the little bench seating just outside of the chip shop.

We ordered a medium chips, potato cake and the lamb souvlaki. All of it was delicious and the medium is definitely enough for two people. The chips were lovely and crisp on the outside while fluffy in the side. The souvlaki had a good amount of lamb in it and was seasoned nicely. It would have been great to have the option to add tomato and feta to it but it was still great.

The Italian lady behind the counter was friendly and lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Our chicken souvkakis were delicious and fresh, and chips were crispy. The food is worth waiting for and it's very easy to see why this place has such high ratings.
To top it off, the staff are amazing and were very kind in helping my partner and I out when some bad news meant we couldn't pick up our food in a timely manner. The food was great, the people were even better again ☺

Delicious! There’s a little wait but so worth it and understandable being peak summer season. Burger with the lot, fish souvlaki, chips and potato cakes, every bite was amazing! So many chips with burger meal, adding extra potato cakes and tomato sauce was a lovely touch. Outdoor eating area available. Similar pricing to local shop in Melbourne but much better quality. Thankyou.

Wow! Biggest barramundi fillet ever in a beautiful light crisp batter. Small chips were bigger than my local chippies large and everything else was fresh and tasty. Scallops, spring rolls, chiko rolls, garlic chicken balls all hot & crisp. ♥
I can totally recommend a family feed at Aireys Fish n Chips.

We had fish and chips (barramundi and flake), the kids had nuggets and our dog had a battered saveloy (because of course we couldn't leave her out!). Absolutely 110% it was the best fish and chips we've had, ever. And we've had fish and chips straight from a seaside town in the north of England (Whitby). The battery was crispy but light, and the chips had just the right amount of oiliness that made them crunchy and crispy. 10/10 would definitely make the trip especially to have them again!! Oh and even our dog approved, and she's the fussiest thing ever 😆😀

Where do I begin. SIMPLY THE BEST. I am a fish and chip connoisseur and it’s always my goto meal in any new town I pass through in my travels.
It has been a very very long time since I have walked in to the local fish and chips to be greeted with such friendly and helpful service. The owners went out of their way to help me upgrade drinks and chip sizes in the meal packs they offer. Normally other shops find it just too hard and can’t be bothered to change meal packs for each persons needs.
Great job guys and the family was very grateful that we got exactly what we were all after at a great price.
There was plenty of chips, the fish was fresh and the sauces were a decent size and very tasty.
To sum it up 5 STARS all around and highly recommended to all passing through.
Thank you so much and we will be back when we are passing through next.

Lorne has NOTHING on this fish shop. Been heading to the coast for 20 years now and this souvlaki, fish and whatever you want is delivered in high quality. Lovely lovely worker at the front, she smiles and is a vibrant enjoyable worker. She made my day as did the cooks.

The best burgers and chip that we have had in a long time. Hard to find a great fish and chip shop. keep up the great food and service

Five of us came to Airey’s Inlet Fish & Chips on a Tuesday for lunch. I’ve been to many fish and chips shops (both in the city and in country towns) but, never in my life have I come across such an aesthetically pleasing fish and chip shop that provides such excellent customer service and delicious food, at reasonable prices. On entry to the shop, the staff were approachable and friendly, and took our orders quickly. After a very short wait we received our food. I ordered the lighthouse pack for one. The batter on the flake was so tasty, and the chips were golden and crunchy. Thanks to the Aireys Inlet Fish & Chips crew. I highly recommend this shop, and I’m so glad I came here.

We had a fabulous experience. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. The fact they were open on a Tuesday was a bonus. I would highly recommend!

Lovely grilled fish and chips! The spicy prawn taco was really yummy and a great recommendation from the friendly staff. The batter is fabulous. Kid approved fish, potato cakes and fries. Nice atmosphere too.

A tiny eatery serving fresh food. The spicy prawn tacos were amazing, just the right amount of spice yet very flavourful. We had the spicy beef and Barramundi burger both were good and hit the spot.
