Bluebag Freshwater Place

I highly rate this place as the best in freshwater place for a strong barista made latte! Good value at $3.50 for a small coffee. Only thing is you need to pay with cash. But hey, it's a good way to get rid of loose change! Great atmosphere to sit down and chill as well or do some work on the laptop!

Most likely my favourite takeaway salad franchise in Melbourne. Every salad is freshly made so you don’t have to deal with salads turning soggy and wilted by 1pm. Between being allowed to modify their existing recipes and their make-your-own option the variety is virtually limitless so I just can’t get enough of their salads.

Mind you this place gets insanely busy during lunch but in my experience (and I’ve been there over a dozen times by the time I wrote this) the staff are very friendly. Prices are a tad on the steep side for a takeaway lunch but the portions are very generous and the quality is unquestionable and the speed at which the salads are prepared fantastic making it perfect for a workday takeaway lunch.

If you find yourself there try a Mexicana either by adding chorizo or by replacing the chicken with it. Just fantastic.

Awesome made-on-the-spot salads, hot mains, sandwiches and soups (and tasty breakfast options). My go-to lunch spot.

They have lovely soups and salads! I've had a cookie here too and it was heavenly!

They keep asking you what you just said, probably because the music is so stupidly loud. Maybe if they dropped the volume just a little during the lunch hour... Everyone is friendly, however. Food is great.
