Middle Camberwell Medical Centre

Thank you to the whole team at MCMCGP for exceptional care and service for the whole family always. Followed my personal doctor of 25 years from her previous clinic and love the whole team here including everyone at the front desk. Our family has been cared for by 2, sometimes 3 different doctors (depending on availability) at this clinic for years and all are wonderful, which means we are always getting great care on short notice. This includes care for my kids since pre-natal care, through baby and toddler years to pre-adolescence.

I have seen 2 of the doctors here over the past couple of years and am extremely satisfied with them. I moved on from another clinic when I realised I wasn't getting appropriate care for an ongoing problem. My new GP at Middle Camberwell has bent over backwards to help me and found a potentially serious condition which the previous GP missed. I am treated with patience and respect and couldn't be happier with the staff and the doctors. This is an excellent clinic.

Just had a fantastic experience with Doctor Murty who was very thorough. She was exceptional in her approach and I walked away feeling happy and satisfied with the treatment I received.

Fantastic doctors.

Most medical centres do not charge consultation fees when patients come for vaccinations which are covered under the National Immunisation Program. This medical centre will charge patients $80 for the visit without informing them prior to the vaccination.
I brought my baby daughter to see the principal GP for her sickness. She advised me to get the Boostrix vaccine during my daughter's consultation. She told me it was covered under the NIP. When I went to settle my account, I was charged for 2 consultation fees ($160). The GP actually charged me $80 for the Boostrix injection which I could have got it free from the council or any other doctors! I would be fine if she actually advised me that she would charge me another consultation fee! I feel that I have been conned. I will not go back to this practice. There are other better medical centres with more knowledgeable doctors in this area.

They only do bulk billing on PENSION！if you don’t have pension, pay full consultation fee ($78)but they can rebate $37.6. Just let people know， if you don’t have pension, you still need to pay $40.4 for consultation! ! I paid it and feel unbelievable~
