Shammy's Hideaway Cafe & Catering

My family of two adults and three children visited Sammy's Hideaway Cafe in Minyip in April 2021 and had a wonderful experience. There was plenty to choose from and the meal was absolutely delicious. The ladies there were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience there.

When I walked in the lady behind the couter looked at me and then walked off muttering something about customers, waited 5 min for a male to come out and serve me, I chose to try the bacon and egg roll with a coffee for $10 sounded like great value; Unfortunatly the moment I said I wanted that deal he started making a full cream coffee and got really annoyed when I told him I wanted (Lactose intollerent from milk only, its weird i know) a soy Latte, he made the coffee which was unpleasent not sure if it was the coffee or the soy milk or both. I figuered that the lady who went out back was making the bacon and egg roll, but I was wrong as he handed me the coffee and then went out back and returned 10 min later with the roll which was on what tasted like a stale roll and a over cooked egg I was also expecting cheese. So disapointing as Minyip doesnt have a lot of options.

charged me way to much for a bacon and egg sandwich that was off so my partner and myself had food poisoning for 4 days after eating from there
I highly recommend avoiding the place and business the owners don't care and they just slap it together..
