Blackall Motel

We arrived late from a 13 hours day of travel, Craig was super helpful regarding the late check in. He made sure we can easily find our room since the carpark was really dark. When we came, the room was cool enough for us and it was such a beautiful room, with complete amenities. They even supplied body lotion and shaving cream!!
We booked the double bed room, room was small but perfect with comfy bed and the room was so clean, we didn't need it to be bigger anyway. It had kettle, toaster, microwave and a fridge.
After a long day of travel we really need a comfy place to crash. We definitely recomend Blackall Motel!! Very good value for money. Thank you so much!!

My Grand mother and I stayed at this motel on our Outback trip around Queensland. Michelle was wonderful greeting us with the biggest smile and was so incredibly generous and kind. Fabulous room, best motel we’ve stayed at on our trip. 11/10 recommend! 🩷

Stayed 1 night on Easter Good Friday while we passed through to our destination. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The room had a kettle, microwave, toaster, and ample tea & coffee supplies. Room and bathroom very clean. Beautiful indigenous shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Parking is right outside your room and has a small table, 2 chairs, and accommodates outside smoking. Excellent value for an excellent service. The owners even offered to cook us dinner if we couldn't find anywhere for dinner.

What a fantastic little hideaway with "old school" service and owners that are so accommodating. Michelle is a fabulous host. Rooms are very comfortable, with great beds. Tea and coffee supplied as well. Prices are great. We'll definitely be stopping back in on our return trip.

A wonderful experience. Big, well-appointed and modern rooms with the best bathrooms we've encountered on this trip so far (love the water pressure). The hosts were warm, generous and helpful. The bed was comfortable with good linen. The attention to detail was great - reading lamps! Powerpoints by the bed! Bedside tables! Excellent toiletries! And a very nice picture of an emu to watch over us.

Lucky enough to stop through Blackall and come across such a wonderful motel! The host, Michelle welcomed us with open arms and great hospitality! The rooms were lovely - all with air conditioning and a comfy bed. We finished off our stay with a yummy breakfast in the adjoining cafe! A must stay :)

The first stop on your way into town heading south this great little Motel has super friendly staff, clean rooms, and won't break the bank. We arrived late afternoon on a public holiday, the owners gave us some friendly advice about where to get some food and when we arrived back they had turned on the ac for us.

Stayed here for about 10 days for work commitments, whilst the rooms are a bit old they are comfortable. The hospitality from the hosts was fantastic and they couldn't do enough for me. I would have no hesitation in staying here again and it was far more welcoming than the last motel I stayed at when I was in town. No restaurant but home cooked meals delivered to my room, great meals as well. Well worth a stay and as I already said, the hosts are fantastic.

Amazing service from the owner, who was kind enough to open up reception on a public holiday, accomodate our late arrival, and even lay on food for us when we were stuck without a meal. Tasty coffee from the cafe was a great way to start the morning too. Very comfortable rooms, great surroundings and tasteful de decoration. Definitely make this your stop in Blackall. Close to ⚡🚗 Chargefox station too.

A quick stop overnight: the motel is under new management.
The decor is dated, almost vintage, which makes it very cute!
The place is spotless! Beds are very comfortable, clean crisp linen with nice firm pillows.

Great stay here Wednesday night, very clean and the beds were so comfy. Also the meals are fantastic. If we pass through again, I will definitely be staying there. Just wish I could give more than 5 stars ⭐

Blackall Motel was such a great motel to stay at. The owner Michelle was so lovely to deal with and made me feel very comfortable. I have never had a better sleep in a bed at a motel then I did at Blackall Motel. I highly reccommend staying there.

Michelle & Matt are amazing hosts the bed was really comfortable the room was very clean I even had a couple of beers with Matt which i really enjoyed i would definitely go back. Thanks Matt & Michelle for making my stay enjoyable.

One of the cleanest motels that we have stayed in, crisp clean white sheets, shiny bathroom. Loved the tiles in the bathroom. Like visiting grandparents, enjoyed the walk down the street for dinner, had a good rest. The owners must do their own room servicing!! Good on you!

Blackall Motel was a great place to stay. Michelle and Mathew were such a pleasure to deal with along with all their staff. Favourite place to stay on our trip through outback Queensland. Highly recommend.

Nice little stop over through the central west. New owners have made some nice changes and the room we stayed in felt warm and cosy and was clean. Friendly managers. Would definitely stay again when heading back out this way.

Great hotel for an overnight in Blackall. Owners go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Great food and comfy rooms. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.
