Wheelers Hill Library

Really beautiful setting for a library. Perfect for a small walk with kids around the lake then a nice time at the library and a drink at the cafe. The lake is well kept and has a few ducks and you can see some huge fish if you look hard. Even some picnic tables for a sunny day. The library overlooks the lake and is a great spot for reading or working. Spacious and inviting. Highly recommend a visit!

What an amazing library! Absolute pleasure to visit this hidden gem. The library itself has a warm natural feel and features large windows with beautiful park and pond view. Great Chinese section. Good variety of children's books. Wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. We love how the building also has a cafe, gallery, and park. What a wonderful place to relax with coffee, and read.

I love this library. It's well lit and spacious with a great selection of books. Shout out to Emily the storytime librarian who does a fantastic job and knows the name of every single kid who attends. We finish up with a little walk around the lake, visiting the ducks. One of the highlights of our week!

Lovely setting of the library with the full bay window view of the beautiful lake. Good place to read and chill. Very kind and helpful staff showed me how to use the printer and photocopy.

Staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Emily who conducts storytime is wonderful too. My children love coming to this library just to hang out and enjoy reading some books whether inside or outside on the lawn.

I have actively used this library for the past 33 years and it has been great! The staff are helpful and the system works well. They are happy to assist you with getting books from other libraries, even those outside of the Monash umbrella.
For the last few years they have been assisting my Book Club to get multiple copies of the same book so that we can all read concurrently!!
I have nothing but praise for the way they have adapted their work behaviours to cater for a COVID world!! From delivering books at home to handing out books in allocated time slots to the public...in a COVID-safe way.

Great facility. The library has a great view over the lake, a good coffee shop next door and a top art gallery next to that with regular top notch exhibitions. Excellent!

Found my go-to study place. Has a stunning view and the facilities are great. It's also a library that has a decent stock of books/magazines to borrow.
