Mountview Wines and Accommodation

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mount View Wines for a wedding, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Sandy and Mitch, our hosts, exemplified excellence with her warm hospitality and extensive knowledge about the wines.

The quality of the wine was exceptional, each sip delivering layers of flavor and craftsmanship. The beautiful scenery surrounding the vineyard added to the overall ambiance, making our visit truly memorable.

Mount View Wines is a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for an unforgettable wine tasting experience amidst stunning landscapes. Five stars all the way!

We stayed here two nights in our van and Sandy and the grounds are amazing. Toilets and showers are spotless, the grounds are kept very today and clean. The Bloody Good Red is to die for! Thanks Sandy for a great stay.

What an absolutely amazing place with the most beautiful owner/host you could ever imagine ❤ she was so accommodating and made our stay so comfy and felt like we were part of her family. Will definitely stay every time here and can't recommend it enough. And what a bonus the best wine tasting and cheese platter and not having to drive to our cozy cottage but only a few steps and we were home. My husband and I had booked to stay on Sandy’s property in our van for 2 weeks and ended up staying 3 weeks because we enjoyed it so much. Lots of space, clean facilities and a great location between Stanthorpe and Balladean and all the wineries and sights. Sandy made us and our dog feel very welcome. We will be back!!

Great winery offering wine tasting and accommodation from cabins to camping. Super friendly staff who make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Definitely worth a visit if out Stanthorpe way.

We visited Mountview Winery last Sunday, we were running a little late on our tour.
The Guide rang ahead & advised Michelle, we were late, she said no problem, when you get here will be OK, we arrived & we were all greeted by wonderful Michelle, We were seated outside, as it was a lovely afternoon.
Michelle presented us with a Cheese Platter, which was lovely & we all enjoyed our afternoon there.

A beautiful location with even more beautiful people. Mountview Wines has became our home away from home. We are so happy that we stumbled upon it nearly 2yrs ago through a chance booking on AirBnb. Sandy is a fabulous host and has a way of making you feel like you have been friends for years. You will only find genuinely the most kind and caring people at Mountview Wines. Super affordable and tasty wines - the Merlot and Bloody Good Red are our faves. This place really is the full package. Do yourself a favour and make a weekend (or a week!) of it!

Excellent venue for Weddings and other events. Great cellar and wine tasting. Sandy is lovely.

Didn't stay here but popped in for the wine tasting and what an absolutely delightful experience it turned out to be !! Sandy was the perfect host along with her daughter's super friendly dogs, who joined us by the fire . Loved the fact we could just relax by the fire while sampling the delicious wine . We had an amazing experience here. We stayed in the cabin. The view is spectacular with sunrise 🌅. You can buy their wine and stay there if you like.
The cabin was very clean as well.

Excellent cabins from single to family, completed buggy tour of winery and property with host. Excellent service and friendly service from Michelle !! Must try wine tasting with the cheese platter !!

We had an amazing wine tasting experience and a beautiful chat with Sandy. Our two dogs made best friends with Cavoodle Ralfie.

I highly recommend a visit to Mountview Wines. It is a great place to experience some of Australia's best wines and learn about the country's winemaking history.

Stayed overnight recently as part of a weekend away. The accommodation was perfect for the price and the wines were excellent and very well priced. My recommendation is the Cabernet Sauvignon, but they have a sufficiently large enough range that if you you're not a CabSav person, you're bound to find something you like.
The hosts, Sandy and Mitch, were absolutely lovely to speak with and very approachable.
If you're looking for an affordable place to stay while wine-tasting in the region, this place is definitely worth the look.

Big shout out to Sandy for the above and beyond when I misplaced my prescription sunglasses at the winery during my recent visit. Sandy was very helpful in finding them for me and returning them to me by post, that I received in less than 24 hours. Great service. Thankyou. Looking forward to having a port that we purchased.

Lovely winery and cellar door. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Not as crowded and run over as some of the other places. You can actually sit down, do the wine tasting, buy a glass of wine or they make coffee too. Interesting history to the place. We purchased some of the wine and it was very nice!. Would have purchased more if we had know, maybe next time. It is also on the cycle route and will definitely recommend cyclists put this one on their list. Highly recommended 👍

Such a lovely place. Sandy is very lovely and the wine is absolutely beautiful all of it. Both red and white especially the bloody good red. Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely hideaway.
