Murdunna Roadhouse

Had an enjoyable experience getting some potato cakes and picking up some needed sunglasses. All this was reasonably priced and enjoyable. I did see some kid spill a coffee on a patron which looked uncomfortable, but I guess that’s separate.

I want to leave you guys a review, so here it is.

Popped into the Murdunna Roadhouse today as I always do when I’m working down this way. I purchased two of the homemade pies for an employee and I. One was chunky beef the other was peppered beef.
Well, I can honestly say that both my employee and I thoroughly enjoyed these sensational, tasty and very filling pies. Not to forget the staff of course. I have never ever found anyone in this store to be grumpy or not wanting to be at work. What I have found is a very friendly, happy and polite staff member everytime I have been in.
So thank you everyone at the Murdunna Roadhouse, your food is sensational and your staff are an absolute credit to themselves and you.

I know it looks like just another petrol station but I've always stopped here for the oysters while in the area.

It's good to see the renovations and upgrade work since the last time I was here a few years ago.

Oysters are freshly shuckled and they taste so nice. Prices are much cheaper than in the CBD as before. The oysters are big and fresh and there's a few picnic tables out the front to enjoy them straight away. The staff are always friendly.

Just recently visited and there pies are the best 😊
Everything in the shop is fresh and staff are super friendly 😊 I definitely would highly recommend them on your travels

Quaint road house which stocks everything! We needed a hose attachment for our motorhome and they had it. Staff were friendly and chatty and made us a great coffee. Thanks guys!

Nice place with a good selection of groceries and gifts for others.

World class friend chicken , far better then kfc

Best chicken I’ve had in my 16 year old life!!! 100% would recommend! Living in New Norfolk I’m seriously considering making the drive here every weekend. Order the Gourmet Chicken Strips and you won’t regret it!!!!!!

a great store with cheaper fuel than my regular ampol in Hobart , lots of food options and a friendly lady served me on my visit to the roadhouse on the 13th of august, when my ute needed disel, i will visit again

Amazing variety in such a limited space. From brilliant scallop pies to woollen socks. Staff with a sense of humour thus the sign on the door "the shopkeeper from hell". Post agency, fuel, take away.

Good place for quick buy outs...you won't surprise of the range of selections they do have...pretty decent...
To me the timings are the best part of their shopping deal.
