Lufra Hotel and Apartments

The hotel is a bit dated but very comfortable and clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is exultant and extremely well priced. This is not a modern 5 star hotel but is well recommended and a wonderful stay. Thank you to all the staff at Lufra.

wow the lady at reception has exquisite service explained everything to us with that was easy to understand and thank you for our upgraded room was much appreciated had beautifull beach view 😍 the room was very clean and comfy great wifi for the phones plenty of parking, and I'm glad there's hotels that cater for.smkokers having an adequate designated smoking area was great 👍 will be staying here again i wish we could have stayed longer but the 1 night away from the kids was great and a nice drive down, very clean hallways and awesome new showers comfy beds with electric blankets plenty of towels.and extra towels in the hallway so i didnt have to bother staff for extra ones thats was tops and theres even dirty laundry baskets for use awsome again thanks lufra keep up the good work 👏 great place to stay 👍 the only one thing I could suggest but isn't really needed would be wifi TV's for Netflix etc but the beach is so close to go for a walk or get an ice cream at the blow hole etc 😀

The hotel is located at Eaglehawk Neck (easy access to all the famous spots in Tasman Peninsula) with very nice view from our room to the Pirates Bay. Check in was easy and fast - they still reversed a room for us though my credit card was blocked just before the day we started travelling (due to unknown transaction) & they were not able to charge on the card provided in advance.

Excellent! Great room and location perfect accommodation for our Port Arthur experience. We dined in the restaurant and the staff were lovely and friendly. Thrilled to be welcomed by Noah the dog on arrival.

A very decent sized serving of everything. Vegetarian basil pesto pasta! Soooo tasty. Chicken parmi with generous side of pepper gravy

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay. The view and clean, comfortable accommodation was only outdone by the friendly staff and incredible food. The staff were absolutely lovely and really helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Would highly recommend.

Thank you for supporting Tasman U3A on Tuesday mornings and accommodating our 'Winter Warmers' Conversation Group, an ideal central location for our group. Friendly staff, great coffee and lunches and great views. We'll definitely be back, Tasman U3A.

First time here and the staff here so friendly and very helpful. Meals were delicious and overall very good sized meals. Rooms are very nice and toilet and shower were roomy unlike some other motels and accommodation. Will stay here again on next visit to Tasmania.

What a little oasis on our way down to Port Arthur. We stayed in the fully equipped appartment that had everything you needed including the dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. The rooms were very clean with an amazing shower and super comfy king size bed. We ate at the hotel right next door to your rooms and had a delicious meal. The staff were very friendly and we even got talking with the owner who was super friendly and full of local information about the area. Wish we had more time to stay longer.

Really friendly staff! Reliably open even during the off season and the meals were large and well priced. Right across the road from the teselated pavement so perfect for a nice view after your meal. We'll keep coming back, thanks!

Make sure to stop in for a meal and a look around! I recommend staying for at least a couple of nights, so worth it!
The beach is just across the road along with the beautiful tessellated pavements! Over all we had a fabulous stay here with great customer service and friendly locals😁

We didn’t stay but we did have a meal in the bistro and it was absolutely amazing, we had the lamb shanks and pork ribs and would absolutely recommend coming here for dinner. The staff were so lovely, the meal sizes were perfect and service was prompt. We would absolutely come here to eat again and the accomodation looks so cute we would likely stay here too

We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience, particularly the bistro! We went on both of the nights and tried the vegetarian options which were excellent. Staff was incredibly friendly and made for a very pleasant experience on both occasions

Well maintained building. Lovely room 7...great sea views , large dining area and smaller bar with sea views...limited food menu. Continental breakfast for $14pp limited poor, ok for $10pp. Or added boiled eggs,cheeses.

Good location being next to the Tessalated Pavements, and close to other attractions. Apartment was well equipped and maintained. Staff was helpful.

Live band, free bar snacks, great atmosphere, spectacular views, roaring combustion stove, terrific staff and delicious meals, the freshly caught local perch was amazing.
What more could you ask for.

Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The bar also presents one of the best places in the state to have a drink, whale/dolphin watch and get warm by the fire.

Went here with a large group for lunch.Beautiful views from the dining area. Meals were fresh, cooked really well and were timed perfectly. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend a meal here. You won't go hungry! 5 stars
