Dolphin View Apartments

The most fantastic view on Morton Island.
2 stories, 2 separate house levels. Top floor houses 9 guests the lower 7.
Each has its own full kitchen, spa, and buggy for travelling down to Tanglooma resort.
There is a ping pong table and a full-size pool. Cleaned regularly, and the top floor apartment has a games room for the kids and full pool table.
Rates are very reasonable for the stay if you spread it out among a few people. It works out cheaper than the resort for a small room with limited views. Plus, you get to use the resort facilities during the stay. Really enjoyed our 4 day stay. Recommend this place 100%.

We had the pleasure of staying at the house for 3 nights in March and were very impressed. The kitchens are new and fully equipped with all the essentials and more. The house was clean and tidy and the views spectacular. It was wonderful to come back to a refreshing pool after a hot day on the beach or exploring the island. The pool table in the games room kept us entertained after the sun went down. The owners were very accommodating, quick to respond to our queries and even arranged a blowup mattress when we let them know in advance that we would be needing it. Thank you for the great weekend!

My partner, his family and I spent an amazing week in Moreton last December. The apartment had everything we needed! The fridge and storage were quite big so we had to do groceries just ones and we were all sorted for the whole week. The kitchen had all utensils for cooking and it was very comfortable. We had dinners in the big table on the balcony overlooking the ocean.Having an intimiate dinner with the family while looking at the stunning sunset was just a great memory we’ll carry for ever. After dinner we enjoyed playing pool in the games’ room. The owner was lovely and he showed as a shorter way with lots of steps to go down the ocean. We took the steps which were challenging but a great exercise. Really highly recommended!!

We have stayed here twice now and will be going back again!! The first time was a romantic get away for my husband and myself, we stayed in the top apartment then the next time we hired both upstairs and downstairs and and stayed with another family and my kids, we had such great holidays both times. The hardest part about Dolphin View is having to leave! With two different experiences it is still by far the best island get away we have had and we are planning another stay in September. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and nothing was to much trouble.. Thanks Wolfgang!! See you soon.

Best place to stay. You can't fault it. The owner has taken care of all the small details special to make the accommodation as close to being home away from home. A big house for a big family is all you need to keep everyone together. Facilities in the resort is also included when you book to this private accommodation so, what more can you ask for?

Lovely holiday spot on Moreton with an amazing view of the ocean.
The apartment has everything that you will need (even has a pool table and private pool) and is great place to relax and watch the sunset after spending the day on the beach or swimming by the wrecks.

Our family goes to the apartments every year for at least a week at a time.
Amazing views and the place is simple to look after and live in. Nice swimming pool, video's and pool table plus BBQ Highly recommended.

Spent an amazing few days at Dolphin View with family and friends. Plenty of space for everyone but also lots of places to be alone to chill. Location is up high with brilliant views over Tangalooma. Splendid accomodation and comfortable too. Well equipped kitchens. Pool and games room extra bonus. Can't wait to go back.

Awesome house

Stayed here with family for my partners 50th Birthday. The state of this so called luxury apartments was appalling. I have never stayed in such a dirty poorly maintained apartment. Floors and carpets were stained and unwashed, mould throughout the house and in the air-conditioniners and the bar fridge in the media room. The upstairs fridge didn't work which resulted in spoiled food, cupboards and shelving looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months if ever. Both dishwashers were filthy and I had to clean the filters myself before we could use them, which were disgusting and full of dirt, old food scraps and human hair. Pool and pool area was dirty and the water cloudy. No linen or towels supplied in a house that cost thousands to stay in, which we only found out about last minute. When these issues were raised with Wolfgang on our arrival, he had the hide to tell us how to clean his apartment. He offered a $800 refund which was laughable, and he ended up reneging on it anyway. I have uploaded pictures to validate these issues. Honestly, save your money and stay somewhere else on the island if you want an enjoyable experience.

The dirtiest, unhygienic and run down place I have ever stayed at. Mould in so many places, air conditioning, walls, lamp shades. The top floor fridge and freezer did not work. Wolfgang took no responsibility for the state of his so called luxury property which is turning into a pit, blaming the location for being difficult to upkeep. No blades on the fans outside. Not air conditioned as advertised. No gym. Pots, plates and cutlery in dirty draws and cupboards. So embarrassed and humiliated in front of friends and family who were looking forward to celebrating my 50th with me. I have so many photos that show just how run down and filthy this house was.
The owner has also stolen $600 of my bond saying we moved furniture around, which is a lie. We left this house in far better condition than how we found it. He will not get away with this. An $800 bond as well as a $500 cleaning fee was paid for the worst place I have ever stayed. This man is a thief.

Booked both floors and spent a lot of good money for a family trip to have the place in poor condition. For Wolfgang to say he sends cleaners in is a joke. Floors were visably filthy, mold in rooms, bathrooms and the fridge in the pool room. frigde upstair doesnt get cold and handle is super glued on, Dishes were dirty. Also no bedsheets supplied or towels. Fortunately for us we were provided with hand towels and floor mats which looked and smelt although it hadn't been washed. Pool had not been cleaned and pool scoop was so crusty and covered in bird poo would perished in the wind before hitting the water.

Place needs alot of work and I'm sure he can afford it but is to stingy.

Dolphinview was absolutely one of the filthiest places I have stayed. The house did not look like it had been cleaned prior to arrival and was told one day before going there that we had to bring our own bedding. Mold in nearly every room of the house. Broken fans, fridge not working, bath water was brown....
There was even feces smeared on the bathroom wall near the toilet....
