Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Feeding

Rare opportunity to feed wild dolphins right in the ocean by hand. Draws a fairly large crowd but they handle it quite well, especially given that the number of dolphins is unknown each night until they come in for a feed.

Beautiful island. Crystal clear water, beach is never crowded even you find lots of amenities in the area (pool, restaurants etc.)

I definitely would do it again - the dolphin experience is something I won't forget and it's your chance to see a wild dolphin up close

4 dolphins came in during our feed time. They were very playful. Quickly took the fish from us. My 6 year old was mesmerised by them.

So far has been fantastic, only problem was on our fist day of arrival we had to wait a lot longer then expected for our room to be ready.Staff have been wonderful, have met some great staff and friendly people.

its our first time to visit Tangalooma. It has a beautiful beach and fanstic emerald ocean colour.

Also we did many activities (4WD ATV, and fantastic experience interacting with feeding wild Dolphins)

You get a wine and sandwiches meal during the information talk, which is interesting. Three dolphins came and you get very close.

I have been to Tangalooma 4 times in last 10 years. Aways so beautiful beach and fanstic emerald ocean colour. Also they have many activities snokel, 4WD ATV, safari tour etc.... In this time a lot of Chinese tourist visit that's why little bit louder than last few ago. But still ok.

A fantastic experience on Moreton Island from Tangalooma Island Resort, you get to feed a group of wild dolphins. However, the water can get quite cold sometimes because the experience takes place in the evening and you have to have your legs submerged in the water of the sea.

Unbelievable experience, it’s a must to do.

An "old faithful" for people visiting Brisbane. Allow all day; get there early; take comfortable walking shoes, and swimming gear if you are going anywhere near the water; expect to walk; expect resort prices for meals and drinks (you can take food, but not alcoholic drinks as the whole resort is part of the 'bar' for legal purposes.) The evening dolphin feeding can be watched if you are an overnight resort guest or time-share visitor. But, getting in the water with the wild dolphins is special!
