Tugun Tavern

We decided to go here for lunch after it was recommended to us by our son.
I joined the legends and got a discount on all our purchases.
The lunch time menu is fixed price @ $16.95 for non members and $14.95 for members.
For that I got a 200gm steak with salad and chips with my choice of pepper sauce.
The steak was beautifully cooked to medium, and the chips were crunchy.
The quantities were just right and we left feeling well fed without feeling overfull.
The drinks were really well priced.
And the staff were friendly and courteous.
It's a pub atmosphere so don't expect expect to overlook the beach etc.
Although the decor is beachy and there is outside seating also.
All in all a very pleasant meal which exceeded our expectations.
We will definitely be back.
BTW the last time I had a similar steak ,in a place famous for steaks, I paid twice as much and it wasn't as well cooked!!

Wow! The staff are super friendly. Portions sizes were big and delicious. Definitely value for money. Went for dinner then returned a few days later for lunch. Get in there for a really good dining experience. Yum!

Great food, good size servings & reasonably priced, the staff were very friendly and efficient, we sat outside and loved it.

Went in for few jack and cokes. Nice place staff very helpful friendly. Pour nice jack and coke. Pool table there keno and pokie room. Didn't have food but menu did look good

I came here for dinner as I was out of town with my wife. I was blown away with the quality for a local tavern like this. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and well mannered. The food came hot and there was next to no wait.
The establishment was clean and had great covid plans in place with plenty of signage throughout. They also had some amazing vegetarian options which is always nice.

I would definitely come here again!

I had the best Schnitzel salad and chips I have had for a long time 💕the chips the salad the dressing the chicken was amazing ……. Service fantastic with a smile highly recommend 😊😊😊😊

Sorta 'secret' little locals pub.
Overlooked (or ignored?) by tourists and trendy locals set.
Pool table, good pub bistro menu, typical old school Aussie bar.

Fantastic service and quality food. Value is amazing. Have done the steak night, Rib night and Parmy night. Exceptional quality of the staff and chefs. Will definitely be back

Fabulous friendly staff.... Went on 2 occasions. On both occasions we were served by Mitch who was very friendly and we were also served by Lucy the second time who was very pleasant to.
We were on holiday from New Zealand. From the 12th - 21st may 2023.

Nice pub with great service and meals ...

Impromptu drinking sesh went out for a few drinks & decided to eat. The food was great, the ribs & calamari was so delicious & tender.

The Chicken Parmy was "the Best" and filled the plate and I will return. The decor is very beachy and the staff friendly.

Such a friendly/ laid back restaurant meals were delicious and fairly cheap. We had 5 little children and the staff were amazing and always had a smile on their face as they walked past. Our waitress named Jade was fantastic! Stood and talked to the children and was very helpful and understanding when it came to serving dinner with extra plates and etc.. I highly recommend this place if you want a nice cheap meal where the kids can be kids!

This pub was one of THE BEST i have ever been to!! I ordered calamari, which i often ordered. it was the best i have ever had! Wonderful service, friendly staff and despite the fact they were flat out, my meal came out in about 5 minute. And extremely well priced, $35 for 2 main meals! I will absolutely be back! Wonderful!!!!!!!!
