A beautifully renovated building that makes you feel like you have been transported back to 1868. Sumptuous furnishings and friendly staff make this one of the gems of the Blue Mountains. The morning tea is also awesome. Highly recommended.

WOW…The V & A is a must do! This hotel is impeccably decorated, warm, cosy and welcoming. There has been so much love, time, thought and energy put into resorting this hotel. A hidden Gem of the Blue Mountains. We stayed for 2 nights and wished it was longer, we even booked our next stay in November. The food is superb and strongly complimented by the incredible hospitality. All of the staff were happy to recommend other places within the village to visit, which shows a love for the area. This V & A is a serene destination that provides respite from the “rat race”, it has old school holiday feels with people chatting and engaging(not constantly on technology) and a general vibe that can only be described as peaceful yet vibrant! You won’t want to leave 💙

We attended a wedding and stayed at the V & A for 2 nights. The hotel is gorgeous and the staff were lovely. Josie gets a special mention. Our room and bathroom were spotless, the bed was super comfortable and we couldn't fault it. We will definitely stay there again.

Have been excitedly watching the transformation of the V&A since the new owners took over 18months ago
Finally got a chance to go to the cafe for breakfast and we’re not disappointed!

The chef and the owners all individually came and introduced themselves which was unexpected and delightful.

The food is absolutely delicious, as is the coffee! And they’re willing to make anything required to fit dietary requirements!

And then there’s the actual surrounds! The renovations are spectacular! Absolutely beautiful surrounds to be enjoying delightful food and company.

Can’t recommend highly enough.

I absolutely loved staying at the Victoria & Albert Guesthouse! The styling and decor was really well done and beautiful, the guest rooms were tidy and sweet. Complimentary breakfast was lovely and the wrap around verandah was a great spot to relax and read a book. I was very surprised with the quality based on how affordable the rates were. Will definitely book again.

This is the most beautiful hotel in the mountains and it also has the most beautiful people working there! I had a combined birthday event last month, and everything was so wonderful, the staff went over and above to make it a very special occasion for us all! I can’t thank them enough for all that they did and the most memorable birthday ever 🥰🙏🏻.
I highly recommend them for any event. Also the hotel is also so stunning! My family and friends all said they will be going back!

We actually didn’t stay here, we only had dinner. There were 10 of us - 6 adults and 4 children.
When we arrived we were given an unexpected tour through all the various sitting rooms that had been recently renovated, and they were wonderful!! Our host pointed out various aspects in each room, from the year a fox was taxidermied to the designer of the magnificent wall paper in the dining room - Catherine Martin (wife of Baz Luhrmann).
The meal was superb, the children were invited to use the chess boards when they finished their meals.
Next time we will stay overnight. I’m certain it will be great.

I haven’t stayed here so can't comment on the rooms but I am certain they are lovely. I had lunch here 28/1/24 and I must say it was excellent. We had a hamburger and a chicken burger both with fries and they were delicious, and the coffee is divine. The service was impeccable and so friendly and warm I didn't want to leave. The inside of the guesthouse is absolutely stunning. We took a rather large dog and he was brought out both food and water and he was treated like a friend. A truly wonderful experience. I will most certainly be returning 🌻

What an amazing venue! Came here for a wedding lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the quality venue, the decor - especially the Fu Dog cabinet and service. The service was impeccable, from the welcome glass of champagne, relaxed ambience of dining together, attentive service inc doggy bag of doggy bones, these guys just wanted to please and made our Saturday lunch experience fantastic! The calamari was tender, pork belly sumptuous, the mains of lemon chicken and lamb shanks were divine and dessert of sticky date pudding and crème brûlée just melted in your mouth. Highly recommend especially for an event. Looking forward to attending one of their upcoming experience dinners from titanic, to Marilyn Monroe, to the carpenters and Xmas in July - these guys know how to market their amazing venue!

Highly recommended. Older guesthouse which is being lovingly restored. Beds excellent and good hot showers. Staff are excellent, brilliant service from check-in to breakfast to dinner. Food is outstanding. Dinner in the restaurant is highly recommended, absolutely 5 star food and service. Beautiful sunny verandah for an afternoon rest and lounge with fireplace for a drink before dinner. Away from the crowds at Blackheath and Katoomba, Mount Victoria is a cute little town, much smaller but only a short drive to everywhere.

We go for breakfast regularly and went to the Titannic 10 course dinner recently.

A really friendly, welcoming team. Awesome coffee (Fish Roasters) and food. The best pankakes with berries, strawberries, maple syrup and thick cream. Great baked goods. Yummy food.

Haven't stayed, but dowstairs rooms are beautifully styled and the ambience is lovely.

The Titannic Dinner and Event were fabulous! What a wonderful experience, albeit based around a sad historic event.

We were not quite sure what to expect, but this place proved a revelation - a lovingly restored guesthouse, brimming with period furniture and stylish decoration. The staff were terrific fun, as well as friendly and helpful, and there was even a free (very good) continental breakfast. The room was quiet and comfortable, and Mt Vic teems with walking tracks to explore. There is also a cafe attached to the business, as well as a lovely garden and shady verandah. Can't wait to come back!

Spent a lovely weekend at the V&A. The staff were so welcoming, helpful and full of info about the guesthouse and future plans, not to mention suggesting good spots for a sunset drink! It was really hard to choose a dinner option; Derek is a great chef! The renovations aren't quite finished, but I'm looking forward to seeing how they end up; so far it's just lovely. (And the coffee was great!)

I had a delicious vegetarian stack for dinner. The host was exceptionally welcoming and knowledgable. And the chef made a delicious vegan meal.

The atmosphere was calm and romantic. Great for an intimate dinner.

It made our Christmas trip special.

Thank you

Amazing place to stay and such lovely owners! Regarding location, obviously depends what you need, but it’s close to everything (by car).

I loved the interior, spend 30 min in the morning just walking around and having a look.

There is an huge balcony to sit and enjoy, a kitchen with microwave, tea/coffee, milk. They have a really nice looking lunch and dinner menu (we didn’t manage unfortunately) and small breakfast included and a big breakfast a la carte (can recommend, was amazing).

Rooms are cute, ours didn’t have aircon but we had some fans and it was no problem, even though it was one of the hottest days this summer.

Loved the experience, can recommend!

This place is an absolute beauty! We stayed here during our annual cycling trip. The historic decor, oil paintings throughout the hallways and antique furniture were like taking a step back in time .

Not to mention the exceptional service from Dereck and Josie who made sure all 7 of us were looked after.

Included continental breakfast was 1st Rate.

We went to Mt Victoria for a friend’s birthday weekend. We arrived fairly late on Friday night to be welcomed by Derek, who instantly made us feel welcome. Over the weekend we got to hear more of the history of the hotel, including its time as a hospital in WWII, and the surrounding area (as the end of the train line before socialites took coaches down to Jenolan Caves. They are renovating the rooms over time. We had a newly renovated one which was gorgeous. We had lovely meals, sat on the balcony in the late afternoon, and generally just felt at home. In large part due to Jack of all trades Derek and manager Josie. It was too hot to go walking much that weekend, so we’ll come back to explore more of the beautiful area.

We went to the V&A for lunch and we were very impressed with the transformation of the historic Guesthouse which had been run down for a long time. Beautifully restored, a living museum with friendly staff and good food. Congratulations, well done !
