Sunset Rock Lookout

A great place to watch the sunset. It's a pity that there are too few clouds today, otherwise it would be very beautiful.

Amazing place. Breathtaking landscapes and very close to the highway. A must visit on your way back to Sydney.

An amazing experience!!! Sunset Rock Lookout offers astonishing views over the surronding areas. Its 5 min easy walk from the carpark. Highly recommended!!!

So this is a proper hidden gem. You have to park down the road and walk 5 mins to the lookout but the views are worth it.
No barriers so be careful.

This is just off a side road, no signs directing.

Spectacular views even even it's not sunset

Beautiful sunset view...though it was bit cloudy, still managed to witness the amazing sunset...it’s walking distance from Mt Victoria station and only 3-4 minute walk from nearby parking place. Apart from sunset it has magnificent views of valley as well. Be aware that there’s no railing so be careful especially with children.

This is an absolutely spectacular spot - and a bit of a hidden gem. I think what makes it special is how exposed it is - no railings and you’re right on top of the rock which is quite exhilarating. Bring a bottle of wine.

Nice short stroll to get to the view. Small viewing area, but great photos to take at sunset sitting on the rocks close to the ledge.

Amazing view to feel the Sunset. But there should be a parking facility and Toilet here. More facility will attract more tourists and thus Blue Mountain Area can become a tourist attraction.

Good viewpoint on rocks. The view can be breathtaking depending on the time of the day. No picnic spots or any facilities whatsoever though. This place is only a viewpoint. The altitude is high from below and can be very scary. Rocks are pointy so watch step. There are toilets, parks, picnic spots and also a museum near Mt. Victoria station.

It’s an amazing place to view the sunset, entire surrounding becoming dark! Spectacular landscapes from the frame with natural beauty and fragrances of light and life. Must visit less than 2 hours drive from Sydney!

Beautiful spot , easy to access . Easy 15- 20 min drive from Katoomba . Must visit around sunset time.

Beautiful spot for a blue mountains sunset. Not too busy. Was extremely windy when I was there in winter, but that didn’t stop me getting a snap on the rock📸

That’s unbelievable, I pray that nobody will jump from here because then they will fence it up and it’s gonna be less enjoyable..the view is on the cliff and it’s unbeatable

Is nice view at sunset over the valley. Just remember mosquito repellent as here they are huge! A few minutes walk from carpark across street and down small lane.

To get nice shot with sunset at back with people will need camera torch/flash or light on person.

Great sunset location. 3 separate secluded rocky bits you could pick from to be yourself and watch the sunset away from the commoners.

I love this place. I know why they call this sunset rock lookout. Parking is a all right. Park on side of the road. There is no car park.
