The Black Apple

Needed breakfast and had to choose between somewhere in Coffs or here. So glad we opted for this cafe - it was excellent. It has an inventive menu with more than the usual breakfast fare. Plus amazing coffee - so much so we grabbed takeaways for the road. The whole place has a great aesthetic and a lot of care has gone into the fit-out, plus the staff were lovely.

And the cafe is situated in a great little shopping centre with plenty of interesting stores. Bonus: superb bathrooms!

Such a chill vibe, with down to earth staff to match, which is a nice change compared to a lot of places.

Haven't dined here yet but the coffee has always been excellent.

Incidentally; I almost always have sugar in my coffee whether barista brewed or home made (sweet tooth, guilty as charged.)

No idea what made me say no to sugar today but this coffee is so good without it (even with an extra shot) that I may never need sugar in my coffee again.

That alone is enough to make this my only coffee spot.

Looking forward to seeing staff on my next visit.

We had a stop in Moonee market and had our breakfast in The Black Apple. The classic brekky is delicious😋 with homemade hash browns. The hash browns are amazing. Great coffee and yummy toasties.

We were lucky to be there during a quiet time and pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff were happy and pleasant 😊. The banana bread is the best we have ever had.

Delicious food, great coffee and the type of genuine service that makes eating our a real treat. Thanks guys. We'll stop by on our way through again next time.

Great coffee, great food - especially the breakfast burrito! Open, airy, chill vibe, fully wheelchair accessible with easy parking right outside. Highly recommended. 😎👍

Amazing place to have a stop and rest. Must have brekky roll and the honey toastie. Very warm and lovely staff and awesome ambience. The seating is also so comfortable I could take a quick nap before hitting the road again.

Such a cool vibe, lovely staff and of course, the food and coffee was amazing. Unfortunately I live in Melbourne, but if I'm ever near by, I will be returning!
