We have had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful accommodation twice now. First stay was in the Morning Mist chalet which had beautiful views of the mountain. Sunrise & sunsets were gorgeous. Our second stay was in the Hideaway chalet which had no reception but was immersed in nature & serenity.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stays relaxing in the spa-bath with a glass of wine & listening to all the beautiful bird calls. We will definitely be returning time & time again.

I camped in my own tent. I did not stay in a chalet. The outdoor classsroomm was amazing. We were emerged in nature. The out door shower was fantastic to bath it.

EcOasis was our heaven after a hellish day where we had gone to another accommodation, and it'd been triple booked, and we had nowhere to stay 4 hours from home and on Easter. But Ria and her family at EcOasis came to our rescue, and as night was looming after spending hours on the phone, trying to find somewhere to sleep. When we heard there was no mobile phone coverage or WiFi connection we were slightly uncertain, but we really did love and benefit from it "mentally" going back to watch countless DVDs available at reception, listening to the rainforest in all its glory, having a quiet drink on the deck and cooking a nice meal with one another without that distraction and addiction that is our mobile phone. We loved the tree house, from the full kitchen to the loungeroom with wall to ceiling windows and a comfy lounge, the deck (bring bushman's bug repellent as to be expected there is mosquitoes, midgies, leeches you are in a rainforest) the warm showers and bath and the especially guaranteed goodnight sleep in the bed. The management is so kind & they provide complimentary bits and bops from all local providers like organic delicious milk for a couple of days stay, granola for an easy brekky, coffee beans from the Roast Office Uki which is delicious even made in a basic coffee plunger, olive oil and more. A very beautiful place, would love to return one day. If you're a bird lover, bring some binoculars and a long lens camera as I'm sure you'll spot some beautiful birds or at least the sounds.

NOTE: Remember you're staying in the rainforest in Australia and you must be aware there are mosquitoes, midges, leeches, spiders and ants, I'm sure there are other creepy crawlies Please note that they were not inside the chalet but were outside but it's their home. Phone reception isn't available in a couple of chalets, and this is something we ended up absolutely loving. There is a 60m 1.5 - 2 minute rainforest/bush walk down to the chalet from your car, the path is well lit, and there are rubber anti slip mats all the way down, as a suggestion don't bring too many things to carry as you'll walk down and up a few times. If you have a beach cart or something similar, this could make that journey lighter and easier or at least bags on wheels. Bring food with you, the kitchens well equipped, but you are remote, so you won't have Uber Eats or any places to eat within walking distance. But, remember, you are in a chalet inside the rainforest, and it's absolutely stunning!

Great please hidden away to relax. No reception or internet at all. Download music before you go.
Got to relax together with wine and nibbles overlooking the forestry.
Highly recommend for a romantic getaway.
We stayed in Hidden Valley.

This is the perfect get away to relax, recharge and reconnect with nature. My Husband and I stayed here and had a wonderful time. The cabins were large, clean, fully stocked and completely private. Only 5 mins from the cute town of Uki for morning coffee and markets, only to return to a stunning view of Mt warning for sunset. The extra large jet filled bath tub was the cherry on top! Highly recommend.

We had the most amazing and relaxing time here. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind. We stayed in the Rangeview Chalet and it was like sleeping in a luxury treehouse, waking to the peaceful sound of bellbirds and rain in the ‘rainforest’. We took advantage of the Tea Ceremony held on Thursdays and WOW, what an unforgettable experience, a must when you stay. We left feeling nourished in both body spirit and mind. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and relax, to get away from all the hustle and noise of the city then this is the place to stay. Also we still managed to enjoy all the wonderful things the area has like Byron Bay beaches and restaurants, Mullumbimby Markets, Bush walks and more.

Was a great weekend getaway. On arrival we found that the website booking had booked the wrong cabin...when the staff realised they did everything to get us into the correct cabin as fast as they could. The Hidden valley Cabin is a great place to stay and reset... No phone/internet or TV signal. Facilities and fit out were good and clean, kitchen was well supplied with everything you would need (except for maybe a dishwasher). You know it's isolated when you walk a couple of times to the carpark... a little huff and puff up the path but totally worth it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ecoasis Wellness Retreat and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The staff were exceptional - they were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

The rooms were immaculate - clean, spacious and well-appointed. But what really took my breath away were the stunning views from my room. I felt like I was surrounded by nature and it was incredibly peaceful.

One of the things I loved about Ecoasis was that they provided hampers for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was fresh, delicious and healthy - perfect for a wellness retreat. I also appreciated the fact that they catered to different dietary requirements.

But what really made my stay special was the fact that it felt like I had been transported back in time. There was no Netflix or internet, but instead, we were given a selection of DVDs to choose from for the night. It was a wonderful opportunity to disconnect from the world and unwind.

Overall, I would highly recommend Ecoasis Wellness Retreat to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. The staff, the rooms, the views and the food were all exceptional, and I can't wait to go back!

Absolutely love and recommend this Resort!

My partner stayed there for only one Sunday night, but we are already dreaming of returning for a long weekend again by the end of the year.

The chalets are absolute perfect for a romantic getaway! We stayed at Hideaway, which was perfect for us. We were both in Awe! Beautiful bathroom with spacious Spa bath, double shower, lovely bedroom next to it with a balcony. Fully furnished kitchen with everything you need, a bbq on the upper balcony and a TV with DVD player. The hideaway Chalet has no cell reception and no wifi, which was actually so perfect for us. It was mentioned to us tough that some chalets closer to the entrance and to the reception do get cell phone reception.

I also really want to mention that the hospitality from the owner Peter was an absolute highlight for us! He was very welcoming and we had some great chats with him. He went above and beyond and was extremely helpful!

Thank you for making our stay so wonderful and we will definitely be back soon. (:

We stayed in the Mountain Mist chalet, magnificent view of Mount Warning and the sounds of various wildlife echoing through the valley just make you feel like you really are out in the middle of the bush.

The one hour massage is a must and also the slow cooked lamb shanks were delivered and as expected were delicious.

The property is well maintained along with friendly owners who are very informative and lovely to talk to.

It really is a relaxing place to stay and we will definitely be back.

The view of Mt Warning from reception is stunning and we had to appreciate it over a few sessions of lounging on the grass. Our Hideaway chalet didn't have a view but we didn't mind as we felt immersed in the forest and woke to birdsong. We also opted for a gongfu tea ceremony with Iya, which was fun and insightful. Iya and Sandro are thoughtful owners who showcase the local area and their enthusiasm for the environment.

The chalets are simply stunning! It rained the whole time during our three night stay and it was even more beautiful, and breathtaking. Hosts were so friendly and helpful, (even when we gave them a wake up call at 2am due to locking ourselves out!) , would definitely visit again!

Our stay here was the most relaxing, beautiful weekend that we could have asked for. The hosts Karissa and Peter are so wonderful at making you feel comfortable. Every detail was thought of from the picnic blankets to watch the star scape through to the ammenties making the cabins homely. There is enough privacy between all the cabins to make it feel like your own oasis. Thanks again gusy for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful, peaceful & so relaxing. We loved our stay in the Sunrise chalet for our wedding anniversary. Watching the sunset over Mt Warning from your private balcony was truly special. It felt like you were in the middle of no where with only the sounds & sights of nature at its best. Wonderful hosts completed the package. Thank you soo much.

Had the best weekend ever there. The chalets are excellent. I propose to my missus and she said yes which took the weekend off. You can get meals made on site take your own food and cook or get a charter bus from the local hotel in town to come and get you and drop you home. I highly recommend spending the night there as it is just beautiful.

The chalet was a perfect way to start our honeymoon after the year of postponements and getting married in a mini cyclone. All the small touches were appreciated that made our stay memorable. The tranquil atmosphere was first class.

This place is beautiful if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Very cute little cabins which have all the things needed to enjoy your stay. For that extra unplugged feeling, try Hideaway or Hidden Valley as they have no mobile reception.. Amazing place.. Been here twice.. It's wonderful..

Village in Australia

Uki is a village situated near Mount Warning in the Tweed Valley of far northern New South Wales, Australia in the Tweed Shire. At the 2011 census, Uki had a population of 765 people. Its name may have come from an aboriginal word for "small water plant with a yellow flower and edible root". The name UKI was actually derived from the limber mills in the area. Prime timber for export was marked UK 1, as in timber destined for the United Kingdom - grade 1. Hence UK1, which colloquially named the township UKI. source
