Crab Claw Island Resort

Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Stayed here for 2 nights in a beachfront room it was small but it was perfect for just the 2 of us. Really enjoyed the quiet and view from the rooms and restaurant/bar. Good size meals. 2 pools. Overall happy with our stay and will come back!

Amazing weeeknd with friends and family. We were given an upgrade from the family unit to 2 beachfrint cabins. Although the cabins are basic, you are hardly in them. We spent our weekend soaking up the view from our private deck to feeding the resident animals. swimming in both of the 2 resort pools, eating and drinking in the restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful. You can hire a boat, go crabbing, bush walking, bird watching or fishing from the private beach.
Our highlight was watching the crocodile swim past whike enjoying our complementary breakfast.
We cant wait to return and maybe stay in one of the new luxury built cabins.

Went there with friends this Saturday and wow it was amazing , vary friendly staff And ➕ the food was amazingly delicious 👏 good job chef! atmosphere was great specially with the attending staff. Never seen this type of hospitality in NT. It's a most go place l highly recommended this beautiful place.

The bar/restaurant is very tropical and gives just relax and enjoy vibes.

AND THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! i had the soft shell crab and it was just the best thing ever. My new all time favourite meal.

Service was fantastic, the deluxe room is very nice, spacious and with a lovely balcony. Beautiful spot to look at for sunrise and sunset, food at the restaurant is delicious. Definitely worth visiting!

Wife and I decided to drive out to Crab Claw Island today for a day trip, and grab a drink and lunch at the restaurant. It was lovely, and much better than I was expecting!
Road in is a little bumpy, but I left the 4x4 at home and got out there no worries in the run around car.
The staff were friendly, and while I was expecting to pay more due to being an hour out of Darwin, the food was very fairly priced.
The restaurant is elevated and looking over the water. It was a beautiful day, and the sea breeze was just gorgeous. While enjoying this relaxing atmosphere, our food was brought out and I must say, it was superbly cooked! Whenever I order squid, I always steel myself encase it be overdone, but this was the hands down the most perfectly cooked plate I've had in my 30+ years in the territory.
Well worth the hours drive to head out there for lunch! Thanks for the great afternoon.

What a lovely place to spend a lazy afternoon with friends. The road is 16km( dirt and corrugation) from the main road. There are boat trips with lunch if you don't want to drive your car. There is a caravan park with 2 pools on the premises and boat ramp for the keen fishermen. As you enter the bar and dining area,there are steps or a ramp for disabled people, but no disabled toilets that I could find.( The normal toilets were quite big, so you could wheel a chair in there. The staff were friendly and quick. The meals were large and there is a variety to pick from. I had the fish tacos, yummo but hot.

Our second time at Crab Claw Island. And as spectacular as the last. Only for lunch today. The meal, service & atmosphere was great.

We went for lunch. Excellent well-priced and larger yummy meals. The drinks were rather expensive however.

All the buildings including the toilets are on piers because of the crocodiles.

By the way, the road in is rather ordinary being dusty, bumpy, skinny and corrugated..... but it is sorta worth it.

Just wow! Always love coming back to Crab Claw Island but this time we invited 36 Ford Rangerettes Official gals to hang out for the day, use the facilities and have lunch. The food portions were huge and the presentation was something you'd expect in a 5 star luxury resort: Excellent value for money consider the effort they put into plating up and taste. Super impressed and will send everyone your way guys! The Club members loved it!

We are over from Scotland visiting family in Darwin and travelled to Crabclaw Island for a two night stay with one day fishing. We hired 3 retreat rooms which were very basic but quite comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant was great with good sized portions and a lovely view whilst dining or having a drink. The Crabclaw staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, what a great, happy team! The pool areas could have done with a tidy up, we had to remove two chairs which must have blown into one of the pools overnight and the general tidiness of the poolside wasn’t great but it didn’t stop us using them. Overall a great few days away in a beautiful location.

Completely off the beaten track. Even tho it isn’t your typical “resort”, there’s no where else quite like it. The huts were suitable (3star but clean) but nothing can beat the atmosphere! Even with the peacocks presenting themselves to you whilst you eat breakfast.

Also make sure to get the owners to flag down the local mud crab fisherman!!! They did this for us and we bought fresh mud crabs straight from a local catch!!!

Enjoyed a father's day lunch and drinks. Beers were icy cold and reasonably priced. Staff did us tasty great vegan wraps. Delicious! Nice views from the beach in front of the restaurant. Will definately be back. Thank you to all the great staff.

We only stayed for lunch. Definitely a good place to visit when you are in the NT.

We camped in a powered site. The hosts liz and jordy were amazing. Hired a boat and enjoyed some fishing. Definitely will return. Great little getaway escape!

Beautiful location, amazing atmosphere, great staff. Easy drive from Darwin and it felt like we were on an exotic island in the middle of the Pacific. Fantastic food and tropical styled villas on the beach front. Plus boat hire and powered camping sites. Something for all. Can't want to return. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious food, it is the biggest reason to come here

Great location for lunch and beverage at the pub. Staff were very friendly and the food was top shelf. Do yourself a favour and get up here.

This has been one of the highlights of our trip. The staff have been wonderful. Fabulous food and great accommodation looking out over the water. There was an emergency while we were here and the staff dealt with it amazingly. We will be back

We had a day trip out to Crab Claw Island. Beautiful place had a fabulous lunch. Service was second to none, with great customer service. It's absolutely worth a visit.
