Originally the Gunning Centenary Literary Institute, opened in 1925, the Gunning Library was an important community hub and a venue for the many community groups, but has since become a venue for virtue-signalling by unelected bureaucrats and woke councillors. It's a real shame. I no longer have any interest in the Library and do not wish to be associated in any way with drag queen readings for children, especially when there are potholes that haven't been fixed for years.
