Great to see the iconic Wandi pub back up and running after more than a year with it doors closed.

Great to see some new energy in the very special town of Wandiligong. We like the fit out and the feel of the place.

Many locals are unhappy that it's now cashless so every purchase has a credit card surcharge, it's simply unavoidable. In my opinion this is a fairly big mistake a country town.

In thier defence it's 1.1% so as far as credit card surcharges go its def at the lower end of the scale.

Love the Wandi pub, it's iconic and a must do experience. Pair it up with the very unique country lux #openseasonhouse accommodation experience, only a 5 in walk down the road for a perfect North East getaway

Cracking pub, be sure you make time to visit if you're anywhere near Bright. The outdoor beer garden on a sunny afternoon is worth a visit alone.

Terrific little selection of tap beers (Dainton on tap a huge plus) and lovely staff. Food servings a really decently sized and quality is top notch. Some might think food prices are a little on the $$$ side (they're really not), but decent ingredients cost, and the quality shines through here.

Burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, while the Thai rainbow farrow salad with fried chicken tasted as amazing it presented. Have had the parma before too and it's very hard to pass up.

Book ahead and don't miss out!

Lovely country pub. Family friendly, good music, great staff, great food. Been here in winter and summer. Kids play backyard cricket in the summer and a game of pool in the winter.

Called in for a quick drink. Place has undergone some Reno’s since I was last there, much improved. Place has a good vibe about it.

We have been going to the Wandi Pub for the last 10 years. Today is only the 2nd day they have reopened. Can I say they are doing an amazing job. Bar service was great. Meals came out in 20 mins to a very high standard. Great start to new beginnings Wandi Pub

Lovely big garden for summer dinner with groups. Fantastic menu with veg, vegan and gluten free options. Not your average country pub!

Awesome local pub, 5 star restaurant quality food super family orientated atmosphere. Super friendly and helpful staff I'm going back again tomorrow night. Edit: I did go back there again the next night and it was just as good as the first experience.

Great surrounds. Staff helpful and meals were fantastic! Very organised. Best pub meal ever. Our group of 14 were served in a timely manner and afternoon entertainment was easy listening.

Nice pub to visit for a beer after a ride out from Bright. Great large garden area for enjoying warm summer days!.

Lovely old pub with great atmosphere. A couple of local craft beers too. Recommended.

Wandi pub well kept secret. Been working around Bright for the past 4 months and have just had my first dinner there. Well when I can get another booking I will go back. Make sure you book 3-4 before you think you might want to go. They knocked back two guys who live 1 km down the road.

The Wandi Pub is world famous in Wandiligong and surrounds but deserves more plaudits. Maybe there's a reason for the lack of ostentation? It's just not big enough to service the loyal locals AND huge crowds of tourists passing through 🧐🧐🧐. Well, we were very glad to be let in to enjoy the well presented pub food (including edible flower garnish on dessert 😲) and the friendly staff who turned on the footy for an avid teenager. Very homey, cosy, friendly.

The staff and beers are great, the food for a pub in the middle of the country is on the high end but amazing. Would definitely go back next time I'm in the area!!!

After doing the Bright-Wandiligong walk, this was a perfect place to stop for lunch! Although the food is on the pricier end, it is top quality and worth the price. It’s also in a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy nature, would highly recommend sitting in the beer garden.
