I find the service at St Albans Post Office William Street is wonderful.
The staff are polite and courteous at all times I have presented over the years to this post office.
Once I saw animosity with a public person, that was because The public person came at closing time for the post office and wanted them to do a business transaction after hours.
The person got pretty irate but the business had closed for the day, that person should have just come in earlier. It was not the staff's fault at all because the public person did not allow time to get to the post office and complete a business transaction within opening hours.
The staff handled that person really well and were polite. The public person was just relentless on demanding action.
Well done the staff for handling that

The lady there is really really lovely and has the most beautiful smile.
She thoroughly enjoys her work.

I've always picked up parcels from here. They've been quick and efficient even when they're busy I only wait at most 15minutes depending on the line.

Never had a problem, always delivered on time, great job people.
St Albans has the best posties in Australia.

Great staff at this depot. Always friendly and happy to help. Pity the postal prices are about to rise again. Cuts to service and staff levels rising prices and huge bonuses to executives. Doesn't make sense AND AustPost is owned by the Australian People. Maybe time to start complaining to our elected officials.

Only one staff works for assisting parcel collection. The waiting time was so long.

Genuine trash. Put me off using AusPost, and I'm terrified for upcoming medicines that are delivered via them.

Been going back and forth between AusPost support services, and they just keep on repeating the same things after a sentimental item didn't arrive. Contact the sender and my local police. I mean in two calls and four emails minimum, that's all they repeated.

They claimed to have delivered my parcel, but my Dad was doing gardening at the front whilst it was supposedly delivered and I came out not even a minute after receiving the delivered notification. Nobody came by, and my package wasn't anywhere.

Was told the worker who delivered it confirmed it was in my mailbox at the correct address, then after telling them my mailbox is far too small for a package, they then changed it to being left in a safe space. They completely ignored me saying we didn't see an AusPost worker during that time and their change of language. If your package has 'DELIVERED' on it, don't even bother trying to get it back. They will not help, and just say since the driver said they delivered it, they can't do anything else.

Kept on requesting support, but they closed my claims as resolved after repeating the same thing over and over again. Contact the sender and local police, as if it's my job and not theirs.

They also didn't include an image of the package, which other AusPost workers have told me they have but weren't authorised to show me. The officer I contacted also said they were shocked an image wasn't included.

Money is short, and they have just made it shorter. Practically got $100 stolen from me for no good reason. Makes me wonder how long these workers have been getting away with stealing packages or ignoring customers.

Both AusPost and PTV are trash, I don't know why they aren't going under major change right now to be reliable and not scam Aussie's out of their money and time. Could not recommend running away from a service more than these losers. Their number doesn't even work when you try calling back, even after putting email as your preference of contact.

The most laziest delivery driver!! Literally saw the delivery driver drive up and immediately leaving the parcel card in my letterbox. Didn't even bother taking the package out or going up to the house.

Would have to be the worst substandard delivery service for express. Never have I had an item delivered in my hands. It's always a "sorry we missed you card". Strange, I never have this experience with any other major delivery service.
Just an overpriced outdated substandard service

Did not follow instructions to knock to alert me to delivery. Thankfully, I managed to get my parcel despite this, as I live in an area with a high level of parcel theft.

I suppose I should be grateful that this time they didn't pretend they couldn't deliver it because they couldn't be bothered...

By far this would probably the worst Australia Post in the whole of Victoria.
The wait time is ridiculously long, especially on a Saturday. Sometimes you are waiting up to 45 mins. The staff are incredibly rude and extremely unapproachable. The guy that works there who has been there for a long time, cant seem to deal very well under pressure. I have witnessed him pretty much throw parcels at customers just to quickly get them out the door. it’s actually horrendous! I also live 15 km from St Albans, I have contacted Australia Post numerous times over the years and have asked for them to change to a different Australia Post pick up point and have had nothing from them. It’s an absolute disgrace!!

They delivered my parcel to wrong place, and they mentioned left at safe place. Plus they want me to go that wrong address and pick up my parcel. I went their couple of times but owner said they never received parcel.
I don’t understand why can’t they take it back to office and inform the custome to pick up.
Worst service, plus its harassment to go here and there for your things.
Even though when you call customer service they just want you to wait from the head department.

Unbelievable they did not come to my house to delivery. We stay at home whole day and waiting them. Then after 5pm, they marked it “No one at home”. And they said put the card in letter box. But they didn’t come and of course no card at all. How can a public service can do something like that? Ridiculous. Please do the job properly.

Worst Australia Post place ever. Rude staff full of attitude and bad system. I had my parcel delivered to the locker but the app told me to pick it up at the counter. When I go to the counter, the staff was telling me to go back to try again at the locker when I already did many times and was not trying to do their job in helping customer. Not only they’re not apologetic, they even blame ME for the malfunctioning in THEIR system. Never coming back again.

I come there a lot to pick up parcels and I have noticed there is new staff
Which are just terrible they take ages to answer the door And then even longer to collect your parcel always waiting in a queue for way to long
Severe waiting time issues
They definitely need more staff or new improvement in there services
