Brimbank Libraries

We love coming here for story time because this is the only library in our neighbourhood that does story time on a weekend when parents are actually at home.

A small intricate, yet warm library with excellent customer service! There are a decent selection of books, although there could be more books on offer. There are many services present here, and in enough quantity to satisfy your needs.

My review relates to Monday Storytime sessions. They are terrific. Sarah is a wonderful facilitator who encourages participation with the kids and parents but doesn’t overdo it. There have been occasional co-hosts but they’re no where near as good. The selection of books and songs are great, and it makes time fly by. My 1 year old daughter loves the songs they play. Parents, if you need to entertain your kids for 30 minutes, definitely worth attending!

I agree that the place is not very quiet but I guess that's what I love about it..... going there on my day off... picking out a good book....kids chatting around.... people reading newspapers. ...the friendly atmosphere.... makes it very homely! I love going there!

Pretty good didn't stay in for long but seemed like a good quiet study area, had friendly and helpful staff as well

Vibrant and lovely area. Professional and dedicated employees who always help the customers and all readers. Never a dull moment in this small but cosy library. They provide assistance in all aspects in a library setting, such as with computers, books and photocopying etc.

Lovely place to sit and read with concentration for longer hours. Staff is super friendly and provide good advice on reading options for different books. Keep it up. Thanks.

A helpful clean and quiet place to study or finish your work.
computers, printers, and internet (Ethernet and wireless) are available, you can use your own laptop.
New registrations are easy and fast, JUST PROVIDE A PROOF OF ADDRESS & you'll get the member's card valid for 3 years, otherwise it will be valid for 3 months only.
Note: you only need the member card for printing and recharging the card, all other services do NOT require membership.

Friendly and helpful staff, always have a big smile and very welcoming. The space is clean and has plenty of activities for babies, toddlers, kids, teens and adults.

I love this library, the staff were so friendly and hospitable to me during work experience. There is a wide selection of books and DVDs, and many community activities such as storytime and coffee and chat. I leave this library with books in my hand and love in my heart!

St Albans library is great with friendly staff, should take out the Play Station so people can verse each other :)
