Loch Brewery & Distillery

What a great little place. The range is enormous and everything is delicious. The beers I had were outstanding and the gin and vodka my wife had was delicious. Highly recommend coming down for a visit. The gin flight was amazing and very well done.

Your biggest problem here is the amazing selection of loving brewed and distilled fare.. fantastic knowledgeable staff, traditional brewing methods and some really lovely spirits.
I will have to come back to complete tasting the spirits.. thanks for a lovely experience!!

Located in such a serene and beautiful surrounds. There is an array of guns, whisky and other spirits and beers, all locally produced for sale. You can also sit there and enjoy the fresh beer.

Awesome place! Beer tasting is great!! Gin tasting was so yummy!! Very well worth the drive. Staff are very friendly and know their drink! Looking forward to returning in Feb for whiskey tasting!!!

Friendly staff. Had the paddle with 3 beers and a half dram of whisky. Very pleasant sitting outside enjoying the drinks.

I searched for gin and found this distillery on a day when I was driving past Loch anyway, but I reckon it is worth it's own trip. The bar is beautifully laid out, with the gin stills in the middle of the room - unfortunately they can't operate these during opening hours. The gin tasting panel is great value - but try The Weaver Australian gin, full of flavour and packs a punch. For lovers of traditional beer they have real ale on hand pump, and they also do a whisky - but as I was driving I couldn't try it all.

Great atmosphere with interesting beverages. Loch is a gorgeous town, worth checking out!

Well done Mel for being so warm and welcoming, your knowledge on beers, malts, whiskeys helped us understand the 'alchemy' of brewing and distillation! Friendly, knowledgeable staff with great products. The beer garden is lovely, and the inside is equally as inviting on a cold or rainy day. I can't recommend the gin, whiskey or beer highly enough

On the day I stayed for a tasting I was met with two wonderful ladies whose warm friendly greeting was just the perfect start to my experience. The tasting notes were given in an pleasant and unhurried way and although busy took time. This is how all clear door staff should be.

We happened to be passing by and decided to make a random stop. We found the place had a great ambience with knowledgeable and friendly staff who are happy to walk a beginner through the options. Within our group we tried the beers, some gin and a whiskey. We enjoyed them all and would strongly recommend a visit for the curious. We will definitely stop by again when in the region.

Randomly turned off the road to check out the town of Loch, and I'm so glad we did. This distillery was a lovely place to visit. The staff were kind and attentive. I'm not a whiskey drinker, but I had one of the nicest vodkas! Highly recommend, and will be back with friends!

The whole town of Loch is lovely but the Brewery/Distillery is a must. They have a good range of beers for all tastes brewed on site. I'm not a Gin drinker but Marcia said they were very nice. Try the tasting paddles as they come with some great explanations from the friendly staff. Recommended.

The best beer tasting I have experienced. Their beers are flavoursome, but not heavy. Generous serves. Lovely, friendly owners/staff who made us feel welcome. Warm atmosphere inside the building. A 30+ year dislike of gin was wiped out in an instant when I tried the gin liqueur , followed by the Australian gin. Lovely! This is our third visit, but will not be our last.

Loch has become one my favourite local breweries/distilleries. High quality beers and spirits, traditionally crafted. A quiet, relaxed atmosphere for tastings. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and the old red brick Bank building is as charming as they come for a British style brewery.
