We hade a recent visit and I am leaving a "standing ovation" review as I truly believe the services of the Manta Ray Fraser Island Barges are just incredible. No booking required, and they will ensure everyone is served. They depart from each side roughly every 15 minutes and taking around that same time to cross to the other side. At the barge the staff are very friendly. It is super cool how they manage to fit cars inside and it looks like they are amazing TETRIS players. At the end they get you to K'gari (Fraser Island) and that is the goal and they do it safely.

An easy 10-15 min trip from Inskip to Fraser Island. The boys on board took good care of us. Make sure to use the car parks near Inskip to air down your tyres before heading onto the sand and barge.

Straight on Straight off. Simple as!

Keep in mind card payments you need to jump out and go upstairs to pay.

very friendly, know what they’re doing to the max, operate even in stormy weather, caught the last ferry just after 5 from inskip, super easy on/off, highly recommended option to get to fraser!

I always use this barge when visiting fraser. No need to book and they have eftpos on board saves needing cash.

We recently travelled over to Fraser Island on the Manta Ray Barge. Only an hour into our trip and we had an medical emergency and had to return to the mainland. The skipper and crew were very understanding and gave us amazing service. Awesome work guys!

The staff were very friendly. It did not take to long to get over to the island .
On the way back the people we were travelling with got on and we were almost there. They started to move but came back for us.. we certainly appreciate that.

Not much here but ferry's, cars, sand and water.

Easiest barge to get to Fraser, tickets available in Rainbow Beach at their office where you can also get your vehicle and camping permits. Tickets can also be bought on board

Friendly guys and quick ride. Sand can be a little soft getting to the barge so air down before you get onto the sand.

Kind staff and the start of your Fraser trip. You pay for your ticket on the barge, cash.

The most convenient barge to access K'gari Fraser Island with friendly deckhands and easy drive on and off process no reversing needed.

Going both directions we had less than fifteen minutes waiting. The deck crew were excellent in assisting boarding and unloading. In short, a great experience.

Not sure who I spoke to in the office, But I must commend them on the fantastic customer service. Even though I was cancelling my ticket, they made the process so easy and with a jolly attitude. Thanks to lady's in the office. Great service.
