Thank you for making our catch up with friends very special. Awesome service and your food is amazing as always. Loved your numbering system for our meals which made it easy for each couple to pay their own bill.

The food here is absolutely delicious, especially the Pork Ribeye, and the service is impeccable. You've created a memorable dining experience! Also, the cocktails are nice.

Came along with 24 others for an end of year / Christmas lunch. Great food. I had the half ribs, chips and slaw.
Service was quick. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and warm. Beer was cold
There were a number of groups being served. With such a large number of people it was a little difficult to hear each other speak.
I do recommend coming for the food and the service.

Lovely lunch on a Sunday afternoon I can recommend the King George whiting, and the sticky Date pudding with walnut ice cream was divine, great service, nice wine, good atmosphere, highly recommend

Amazing food my mushroom ravioli with a hint of chilli in it was absolutely brilliant best ravioli I’ve had in ages. The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing. I definitely recommend this place.

At the beginning of March 2024 our group held their 70th anniversary of foundation in Barton's Restaurant at the Caledonian Hotel North Adelaide. This was a very important and special event for our members with Her Excellency Frances Adamson AC the Governor of South Australia and Mr Bunten in attendance with other special guests. The planning of the event took place over a number of months. I can not thank Jacqui, our Caledonian Event Coordinator enough for her professionalism, willingness to be flexible and to do anything she could to ensure the event went smoothly, meeting the tight timeline required for the Governor's attendance.
The whole event went smoothly with no hiccups.
I want to also acknowledge the wonderful service we received on the day from Jacqui, the Chef and kitchen staff and the waiting staff. They all played an important and integral part in the success of the event. Barton's Restaurant was an ideal venue for us and the professionalism of their staff exemplary. I would recommend this venue for any special event you are planning.

Excellent table service and tasty food.
The chicken Parm was great I added bacon as it didn't come with ham, the other dish was salt and pepper squid both were great.
The cokes we ordered came in a glass bottle with glasses and there was a candle lit at the booth we sat at. The atmosphere was friendly and the prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend coming here.

I visited with a group of people for dinner. The organiser told me that it was very straightforward to setup the event and get the custom menus prepared.

The food was great. I had the lamb toast as the main and it was superb.

They have a good wine selection as well.

Visited here a couple of weeks ago just before the end of lunch service. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare! Nice and crunchy Korean chicken pieces. Large servings of chips and slaw as well. Friendly staff to compliment our meal here.

A must do in Adelaide is attend one of the Caledonian’s wine / whiskey events. They always have a great selection of wines and or whiskey’s matching always delicious foods. Congratulations must go to the proprietor and it’s staff.. recommend getting on the email list and book your seats 🥃🍷🍽

From the booking process right through to the event, the team at the Caledonian Hotel delivered! The most amazing service, the most amazing function room, and the most amazing food.

We regularly meet here for training purposes. The staff, the place and the food are always good... even when you're on a dietary gym challenge and need a modified meal to comply...so good!

A good venue, where not one person in our large group could fault the staff, menu or food.

Superb as always. The most recent visit was a special event. The Glenfarclas whisky tasting dinner. Food, drinks, and service impeccable.
