The Margaret River Chocolate Company

This chocolate factory provides a wide variety of chocolates, all produced on-site. Visitors can also enjoy a delightful coffee garden. The establishment offers excellent chocolate platters at affordable prices, maintaining a high standard of quality.

This place will blow your mind - a tremendous variety of all things chocolate!! Lovely chocs in the shape of quokkas and other Aus creatures, every flavour combo, testing/tasting station, ice creams, a cafe. Lots of thoughtful gift combos from the tiny $3.95 Quokka choccie to the $100 plus choccie hamper. A must visit, try not to be overwhelmed by the choice because it’s huge!

We bought their ice cream and it was loaded with a large scoopful of ice cream on the cone!!!
The back of the factory has a large grass patch for the kiddos to run and possibly a picnic.

Chocolates are great, food at the Cafe is amazing too. Highly recommended

While we were planning to come here to buy chocolates - but because Fish Bone winery/restaurant was full for lunch - we came here and hey presto- they serve hot meals too! And was divine appointment as it was really good food!

We visited this wonderful place . It has an ice-creamery and coffee area just inside. Delicious ice cream is available and barista made coffee. Even hot chocolate drinks in a variety of fantastic flavors are available. The range of chocolates and sweets is incredible in the main selection area. The décor within this building is fascinating. While you are doing shopping or tasting, there is a playground area for children outside for kids activities. A real gem found only in the Margaret River Area,

As we dropped by to buy chocolate here. There was a lot of variety and a section of items, Lots of glassed areas where we could see the factory and making of goods. Off course there is free sampling of the chocolate from dispensers. At the café we ordered a hot chocolate drink. ( To die for )We were served almost within 5 minutes. It's a good place to buy some chocolate for oneself or as gifts. After our drink we decided 15min. latter to purchase ice cream. Again served within 5 min. Staff were friendly, provided service excellence. Highly recommend this place.

I don’t like chocolate but everyone in my group said this place was amazing. So much chocolate it’s unbelievable. They have free samples set up and people just get scoops and scoops worth. The hot chocolate is apparently better than Starbucks (based on my chocolate connoisseur experts). They have a big workshop too where I guess they make some of the specialty designs. It wasn’t really in action when we arrived but if it’s active it looks like it would be a cool thing to watch. If you are not into chocolate or want to switch to another sugar source they do have some cakes & pastries & coffee. I would have to say this is a must stop place (my family had to go 2x) if not just for chocolate but for the experience too.

Beautiful Chocolate however very overpriced. If I bought what I wanted I would have spent $200.

Great selection of chocolates with really something for everyone makes it a great stop. As a fan of fruit & nut chocolate, I definitely wasn’t disappointed, with both thicker blocks and thin blocks to select from, all carefully wrapped up and displayed in large piles. There is also a display section in the fridges near the counter were you can select from, and a few taste-testing jars.

Once you’ve spent an hour or so drooling over the chocolate, there’s a cafe on-site that offers some really great food and coffee.

Had a great morning and lunch at the Chocolate company. Worth the visit and free chocolate tasting.

Great chocolate but very busy in the shop.

Loved the waffles topped with their milk chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The hot milk with dark chocolate was to die for. And of coz, the assortment of chocolates in the shop for chocolate lovers to choose from. You won't be disappointed. A definite must stop when you visit Margaret River.

What a better strategy then to give ppl free chocolate as they come in and then watch them go wild 😜

Free chocolate on arrival!!! Amazing range and friendly staff. Top quality chocolate and they make a good coffee too.

Any place that gives away free chocolate is a winner!! We always enjoy an icecream here too and the servings are generous. It will continue to be a mandatory stop on our annual trip to the region. The providores around the corner also offers good free tastings.

This is my favourite place to visit whenever I go to Margaret River. Just love the free chocolate lol. I also enjoy showing my son whatever they are making in the chocolate window. No matter how many times I visit, I’m always amazed and the variety of the products they have here. Staff is always very courteous as well. Not a big fan of their cafe though.

This is an awesome place to visit if you are a chocolate lover. You can watch chocolates being made through a glass window. There is a lovely cafe with reasonably priced food including fondue and hot chocolate. There is outdoor seating, a public toilet and a huge range of chocolates to buy. Must see destination when in Margaret River.
