Karridale Crossroads General Store

Update 10/2021: Popped in again for some more pies on the way home from Augusta. Still one of the best pies we ever had!!

Family and I were passing through karridale and in-need of some petrol. We popped in to this roadhouse to fill-up and upon entering the shop to pay, I couldn’t help but notice the amazing looking pies, sausage rolls, biltong and sandwiches!
Hand-down these have some to the best best pies I’ve ever tasted!

I had the lamb with vegetables, which was stuffed full of Chucky meat, carrot and broccoli pieces.
The curried beef was authentically made, Rich in flavor and fully of mince. This was no standard curry pie!
The beef mince pie was again stuff full of good quality mince and tasted amazing.
The sausage roll my youngest Had got two thumbs up from her, it had flaky pastry and wonderfully tasting meat filling.
My wife had a curried egg sandwich, which I also had half. Again top quality fresh sandwich with ample filling. Curried egg was perfectly flavored, the lettuce was crisp and crunchy.
Prices are fair, these are homemade pies and sausage rolls, nothing processed here!
Compliments to the cook! I highly recommend stopping by for a quick bite!

Poor service experience at nearby highly rated winery so I walked out of there and found this lovely Cafe down the road. Wonderful fresh sandwich - not smothered in Mayo or sauce, a delightful home made brownie (wow) and some biltong. What a delight!

The kids really like there’s sausage rolls and staff are friendly, food are very good.

Stopped to get some snacks on our way to Margaret river for the day. The dried sausage and biltong was amazing and did not last long. The flavouring of the lemon and myrtle biltong sounded unique and interesting so decided to give it a try. Wow what a surprise it was delicious. A must for all biltong lovers.

Lady behind the counter was super helpful in providing places to see around Karridale. Sent me to a lovely winery and local artisan Oriel Karrindale Gallery close by.
Pies were delicious- pastry was soft and fresh.

Had 5 breakfast wraps today, they where big wraps filled to the max and complimented with beautiful home made chutney, amazing value for money. Will deff stop here again at this little gem.

Best pies I've had in Aus hands down (NZ pie conparing) Always a must have when I'm down there slaying kahawai (salmon) lol. Thank you for the mean feed🤙

Great little cafe/general store. Owner was very accommodating, made my partner a very tasty vegan breakfast wrap.

Loved the homemade pumpkin dahl pastie! And the coffee was great too (lactose free)

There a grumpy bunch but they’ve got some of the best burgers in the area get the lot it’s amazing. A lot of negative reviews say there rude customer service but after you know them for awhile it’s more funny than anything.
