Great bush campsite by the Blackwood River. Felt like you were in the bush with added comfort of clean, proper toilets and fresh water. Well shaded with canopy of trees. Boat ramp and bbq area for day users. Bring your own firewood. You pay at the entrance and put your receipt on display at site number sign on your site. Fairly close to awesome sights (forest and coast, towns, etc) but far enough away for the bush camp experience.

Fantastic campsite set in peppermint gum forest. The trees are just gorgeous and provide lots of shade. Sites are good size and accessible. Toilets are flushable and good but a bit dark. Very good value for money.

Only visited for an hour but it seems like a great place to camp! Camp group has toilets and drinking water. The river is the biggest positive with a boat ramp but is also great for swimming and canoeing. Sites have fire pits (can't be used during fire bans) but you must bring your own wood as it can't be collected on site. Grounds are dog friendly but they must be leashed at all times. Small to medium caravans will fit no problem but there is no dump point on site. Fees are payable for camping.

Nice place to visit. Didn't stay at the camp ground this time but would like to. Looked to be well set out with basic facilities.

What an awesome place! Camping spots are spacious and shaded by peppermint trees. There is a small playground close to the river, water in the river is sparkling clean. There are even flushing toilets and showers! Definitely one of the best sports we have ever camped.

Lovely camp ground in amongst the trees and easy access to the river. Flies, as with any bush camp during summer, may be an issue but with our day only visit my fly net made them bearable. I'd go there again.

Good base to settle in and see Margs and Hamelin...Easy going atmosphere, right on the river which is great for all to cool off and enjoy the space. Sites arent very level, unless you luck out like we did!...Site 7A...Massive and level...Winning!! Cold outside shower, and fairly clean ablutions. Accessible for our Coaster bus and caravans no worries at all. Ranger checks sites and payments etc. Great spot, very grateful.

Great camping spot first come first serve basis. Only 21 spots on site and during public holidays you may have to go couple of days earlier to secure a place. Day picnic area and kiddies playground by the water. Clear waters dogs on leash allowed.
