Third time went to this cafe. Never disappointed. The price get a little bit more expensive now but the quality is the same. Got the set (around$17) with satay beef noodle soup with Hong Kong milk tea (a tad bit bitter than my liking) plus toast with scrambled egg. Pleasant dining place.

My new local Chinese go-to eatery. Extensive menu in a book, covering also a special Vegetarian page, as well as special HK-style drinks including alcohol. I am delighted they have a good Desserts menu too (my weakness)!
D13 Wok-tossed black pepper steak with onion and seasonal vegetables on rice. Spicy, but not overly so, and flavourful that no extra condiments are needed. The steak was cooked beautifully and easy to eat.
For dessert, as a taster today, chose P02 Red bean sesame ball (normally comes with three balls, but I had only one) accompanied by P05 Black sesame ice cream The ball size is slightly larger than a golf ball, yet it was enough for me, especially with the ice cream. Deliciously chewy and tasty; a bit like a doughnut with the red bean paste inside. Yum.
They were quite busy with takeaway delivery orders too.
Excellent value for money. Great service.

I really like this cafe. Good, tasty authentic food with great value for money. Great for larger groups, but fantastic for single diners with a large range of very tasty single plate dishes. The set menu is great value for money, especially if you’re hungry! Try the baked pasta/rice dishes - different excellent. Very quick service ideal for a quick lunch but you won’t be hurried out. Also has some tables outside under cover which are great in warmer weather. Highly recommended.

Don't get why this HK cafe got rated so low... It's definitely a 4-5 star for me. Ordered baked seafood rice, flat rice noodle and borsch. and they were delicious and reasonably priced. Unlike a lot of restaurants in Melbourne. Way too underrated.

Love the mala beef noodle and matched it with this Shiraz. My simple heavenly experience.

A Hong Kong style tea house. Quaint cafe with a well-lit space and a tv showing Cantonese fare. First time trying their food and was pleasantly surprised! Reasonable prices. Food is great and harks back to the authentic food in HK!The milk tea was satisfactory.
The service was friendly enough.
Could have been better.

Nice HongKong food right in the middle of CBD. Their grilled plates are great value and I really love their creamy baked dishes. Takes me back to HongKong!

Love their lunch set menu. Hk iced milk tea we love it so.much. the beef brisket noodles is sooo good. So much beef and the soup I love it. Wish they give more soup than noodles. I'm Korean and this tastes similar to Korean dish.
It includes toasts and eggs and noodles and hk milk tea for 16.99! We will be back for more

Walked pass a few times this place in QV and decided to give it a try last Sunday before watching a movie.  We were craving for some Hong Kong authentic cafe food with cantonese song at the background. The all day menu with toast, scrambled egg, a noodle of your choice and a drink for $15.8 is very reasonable.  We tried the slow cooked beef brisket with egg noodle soup.  The soup was rich in flavor and genuinely authenic. The milk tea is not the best I have tried in Melb.
Will give a five star for the beef noodle, the decor and the vibe.
Definitely come back for the beef noodle soup and try other main dish.

My go-to restaurant when looking for Hong Kong-style food. Staff are friendly and speak both English and Cantonese, food tastes good and mostly authentic, prices are reasonable and place is generally clean.

People dislike the service but it's alright to me considering the Asian service culture.
On the other hand food is really good for my tastes and pricing is good too.
I'll be coming back often.
