Visited here on this Sunday arvo. Actually, it’s more like an aviation super fans club and definitely my type. They have a collection of almost everything that an aviation history lover might collect, not just warbirds and engines, but also propellers, models, posters, and even ANZAC biscuit limited edition tins. This is probably an exhibit that most aviation museums in the world don’t have. Love it!

Great staff. It was nice to talk to them about planes. Quite a few things to do here and some hands on activities as well. They do have flights but you have to schedule them ahead of time.

I found the museum whilst exploring my local area. John have me a personal tour and answered so many questions. There is so much information to take in. It is so good they have the volunteers to help with questions and make it more personal.

The plants are super cool. When you go out the back of the shed you can see the plants take off. It's around $250 to take a flight on one of the war planes and your can enter a raffle for ten bucks to win a flight. The place is run by volunteers and didn't recieve any consistent funding from the government, so $10 entry for an adult and $5 for a child is pretty good to keep history alive.

Thanks for a great day out!

One of my favourite places in Brisbane! A magnificent museum staffed by the most friendly volunteers ever! Lots of great stuff to see and plenty to learn. You can even go up in one of the amazing WW2 era warbirds. I've been up in the CAC Wirraway with Ross who is an excellent pilot and makes the experience one that will never be forgotten! Highly recommended!

I recently visited on a day off and want to thank Carlos for taking the time to take me around the exhibits and share his knowledge. It was great to hear extra details on the displays and he's a great guy as well.

Brilliant place to visit if warplanes and history is in your blood. The Volunteers in attendance were brilliant very friendly and a wealth of knowledge... congrats to them. Now this is not a massive display but what they have is excellent. There is a Huey Chopper where you can sit in the pilots seat, this chopper brought back many memories ... also remember the Pig better known as F1-11 bomber jet that used to light up the Brisbane skies with the after burner you can see inside the cockpit.. So grab the kids and head to the warplane museum. This is run by 100% volunteers.

The Everton Park Probus Club enjoyed an outing organised by Rowan King, an informative tour of the Caboolture Warplane and Flight Heritage Museum.
The Museum is dedicated to promoting the history of both military and civil aviation. The exhibits we viewed ranged from flying aircraft to static displays and model aircraft and friendly tour guides gave us detailed insights as they guided us around the exhibits.

Took my grandson here to share some history, insight, knowledge and understanding of Australia's aviation past.
Though only small it certainly delivers an experience that helps stimulate and support a desire to learn.
Had a great day out and highly recommend to any aviation buff or to anyone who wants to get to know about our aviation past.

This place was really good.
They have very knowledgeable and patient staff. The staff member made everything interesting and fun.
There is so much good quality pieces, that when added to the information makes it easily a couple of hours of entertainment, perfect for the school holidays.

Warbirds at this museum are airworthy and many are available for customer bookings. The museum is linked to several warbird operators at Caboolture Airfield (YCAB), and hosts wings and wheels events annually.
