Lovely hike along the Heysen Trail through Warren Conservation Park. A gradual climb, nothing too technical, with a few seats along the way. This is part of a 9km loop trail from the Watts Gully Rd trailhead.

One of my favourite walks. Lovely wildflowers and orchids. Kangaroos in abundance and an occasional koala.
Bring a torch if you start your walk in the afternoon so you don't get caught out. Once the sun goes down it is pitch black out there.
Went back in March the paths are becoming overgrown and the Kangaroo Thorn seems to be spreading everywhere next to the paths they are very prickly. Luckily on this visit we did see Bee Eaters, Lizards and an echidna.

The Warren Tower hike is amazing! The track is pretty clear to follow other than just after the tower. The appropriate trail is crossing through the grass to the fence line and over the fence however you can follow the fire track and pretty much end up in the same area. The glittering rocks are beautiful and we saw heaps of lizards. There are a couple of dodgy spots and hiking boots are preferred but I will most certainly be back.

Nice conservation park away from other more busier ones making this even more attractive.
Walks are leasurely and if you are up to it can include some Hill climbing.
I enjoy the quietness it offers. If you are in to photograpy like i am it can offer some nice Photo results.
