Watts Gully Road is in good condition from the South Para Road (Kersbrook) but deteriorates towards Forreston.
The west side of the loop is part of the Heysen Trail and there are benches, the rest of the loop is less developed. There is bit of rock hopping and parts are overgrown.
The loop is a bit too long but one of the most interesting walks. It is full of orchids and flowering shrubs this time of the year.

Great loop walk, highly recommended. Scenery changes, views are awesome (can see over the Barossa, Adelaide Hills, Mount Crawford, even to the sea at one point), bush, birds, sparkling rocks (mica and quartz), creeks. Just do it!

9km hike with some difficult terrain but worth going slow and taking it all in.
