Great Northern Lodge

Stayed here many times while working away. I have enjoyed relaxing in various apartments on the Lodge that have all been clean and comfortable. The open shower, bathroom thing can make you feel a bit naked 😏. There is a bath if that bothers you 🤔. Spacious modern rooms, big T.V and free WiFi. Wendy at reception, keep up the good work ✅

We enjoyed our stay here at the Great Northern Lodge. Wendy was so welcoming and friendly. The apartment was newish and was spacious. Nice lounge, big TV,huge double shower,comfortable bed.Rainwater was supplied as tap water isn’t so nice. It was so lovely to stay in a place that didn’t have notices everywhere dictating what to do and not do. I liked the way the outside garden was set up with lots of fruit trees and vegetable beds. Only small complaint is that we could hear the people in the apartment above us walking about, but it didn’t last long.

Stopping in at Quorn then book yourself into the great Northern. It has a single bed downstairs under the staircase and a queen bed upstairs with an open plan bathroom upstairs but it provides enough privacy if you are sharing with others.
If you need another single bed then the staff will put another bed into the loungeroom and the mattresses are comfy. You have a kitchenette with a microwave,TV and a couch 🛋.
Wifi available . Want to head out for a pub meal then take a 5 minute walk to the Transcontinental hotel where you can get a pint and some pub grub, the chips and gravy are good.

The Great Northern Lodge was perfect for us. Wendy was so welcoming and went out of her way to accomodate our family of five, including three teenagers. The apartments are clean and beautifully appointed. Wendy and Sally have a long connection with Quorn and surrounding area so a great souce of local history if you get a chance to have a chat.Fantastic experience.Thanks Wendy and Sally. Looking forward to our next visit.

Fabulous place to stay, new, fresh, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Large comfortable bed. Everything provided including large bottle of clean drinking water under the sink. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to other travellers Thank you to the hosts.

We were surprised to come across such nice accommodation in a small town. After having stayed in cheap motels during our road trip that week it was so nice to stay at the Great Northern Lodge. Parking is available. Check in was easy and the lady who showed us to our room was hospitable. Very clean, spacious, modern and the highlight was definitely the double shower! Bathroom doesn’t have a door but that didn’t matter. Plenty of cooking utensils and cutlery/crockery provided. Kettle & toaster. We didn’t use any of those as we ate out but handy knowing if we return to stay in Quorn again. Very quiet and peaceful.

Our stay at The Great Northern Lodge was so enjoyable and comfortable. Thanks so much Sally and your team! You guys were an absolute life (and mattress) saver, when we forgot to pack nappies for our 4 night stay in the Flinders. You guys came with the goods when all the shops were shut. Thanks for going above and beyond for all our needs. Would totally recommend this place. Such new, clean, and well thought out apartments.

Such friendly people and the accommodation we were upgraded to was a lovely spacious split level apartment, kitchen/living downstairs and large loft with large bedroom & twin showers & basins upstairs.
Would definitely recommend. We’ll be back :)

Wow, what a fantastic place to stay! After a hard day riding to unwind here was impressive! The best hosts, on my list to stay again. The dinner in the Bistro next door amazing taste!

Incredible hospitality! We had a lovely stay in the Great northern lodge. The diningroom/reception/bar is beautiful and this alone a good reason to stop here. Rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. Owners incredible friendly and warm. Would definitely recommend for holiday/business.

We loved our stay here, room was very comfortable, clean and modern, had lovely views from the balcony, and central enough to be easy walking distance for dinner at the pub. It’s a quiet location, had the best nights sleep, we will definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 10 nights at the lodge in a balcony room and it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and all the food downstairs at Emily's bistro was amazing. We had the Sunday roast lunch which was delicious and the pasties were the best I've ever had. Overall we had a wonderful time and would throughly recommend anyone going to Quorn to stop over at the Great northern Lodge.

Best accommodation up north! Super modern rooms, a really cosy and warm bed. Owners are friendly, give great recommendations, and will go out of there way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Couldn’t recommend it more

Great place to stay in Quorn. Beautiful rooms and friendly staff. Our daughter was given a room upgrade before she did the Heysen Trail which was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Wendy was great from day we booked till checking in. Lovely new rooms with everything we needed. Loved the gardens around complex, various fruit trees, herbs, veggies and flowers. Well done!!!

This lovely venue has stood the rest of time. If only it could regale us of stories from the past. It was the venue for the quandong luncheon at the inaugural quandong festival August 2022 courtesy of chef extraordinaire Andrew Fielke.

It was a fabulous setting for a long lunch with some interesting folk from the native food industry.

Great place to with good facilities. The rooms are spacious and clean. The lodge has ample car parking and a Tesla charging facility.

Excellent place to stay, beautiful clean modern rooms, staff at reception at Emily's were friendly and helpful. Bed felt like a big fluffy cloud.

Excellent find in the middle of Quorn. Would recommend - friendly staff and nothing a problem. They rustled up a cot for my little one and also have everything in the apartments you would need. Tasty pastries and excellent coffee.
