Great little pub experience. Very friendly management. Food was delicious.
It's your classic country pub with a very welcoming feel.
We rode in on motorcycles and were received so pleasantly it was great.
I'll be bringing people back here !!

Hat trick!! 3rd time here and wow. Tremendous tucker. Publican a hell of a character and our old dog allowed under table out front. Faultless. Wagyu outstanding and wife's seafood platter same. Can't wait till next time. Oh and we weren't travelling past this was our intended destination

Absolutely fabulous meals cooked the proper way like grandma did. The chips!!!! OMG!!! cooked in animal fat as should be -haven't had chips like that 45 years, terrific people. Free camp in front of pub -fabulous

Came here for Australia day lamb spit lunch food was amazing 👏 ended up staying here the rest of the day for dinner and in to the night with fabulous music out the back on the stage to keep all ages entertained all day long the dj was happy to take requests throughout the evening

Great little old country pub, undergoing a "country" themed makeover. Friendly staff and COOPERS ALE on tap! Nice outdoor area. Heaps of parking. It's just that it's a long way from anywhere.
If you are going through, then I highly recommend it.

Stopped at this little gem for a meal
We’d heard previously that they were good but in the middle of nowhere, well you do wonder
We were with friends
We ordered our meals and drinks, wow such and extensive choice of drinks
Guinness Pot Pie Fried Meatballs and 2 serves of Pork ribs …well there were four of us 😉
A fantastic aroma from the Pie and an assurance it was delicious along with the Meatballs and a giant sized serve of Ribs with a house made sauce that was to die for left us all not wanting more unfortunately as we were all full
Shame as the dessert menu did look enticing
Great open fire and plenty of areas to get comfy

Real diamond in the bush. Really nice owners. Very surprised how busy this place is. A real mix of local and out of state visitors. Check out the First Nations (American) head gear behind the bar. Won a free hat to boot. Great food and cold drinks. We parked our caravan for the night for free. Can’t wait for our next visit.

This was the second time we have had lunch here, and hasn't disappointed. Prices are great, seafood spot on, friendly staff.

Very nice food/service

Having travelled 6000 kms and eaten at a lot of pubs (last night's making you wish you'd just bought a pie at the truck stop) this was an absolute oasis to stumble across. The iconic country pub that travellers dreams are made of. Arrived late and we were more than welcome... great wine at last, cold beer and really good food. Free camping offered and taken... amazing service. Can't fault it.

What a fantastic little country pub, it is a little out of the way but well worth the visit for a great feed. If you need to camp there is a great free camp out the front, they just ask that you have a meal or a beverage.

What a gem. The service, meal and hospitality of the owners was absolutely fabulous. Free camping for vans at the front of pub with access, if needed, to toilets in pub building. Donna was so friendly and interesting. The meal I had, spare ribs, was the best I have ever tasted. Please support these iconic Aussie pubs and do yourself a favour and drop in for a beer, chat and a great meal.

10 of us went about 6 weeks ago for Sunday lunch. Sorry it’s taken me so long to post, husband got sick and is now well.
Excellent air con on a hot day. Lovely room. Delicious food. 2 men had ribs and said they were “ perfect” and want to return for more. One person had the Goat Curry and raved about it. We had grilled fish. Someone else had Chicken Schnitzel. Owners were very friendly and concerned for our comfort and enjoyment of their food.
Drinks and food very reasonably priced.
We all agree we will come back to eat here again.
I am very slow to write a Review. This hotel in such an interesting setting deserves great acclaim. Thank You Owners! Marvellous place to stop and enjoy life, fare and company.

Great meals, parked the campervan at the front, so peaceful.

Our family and sister's family called into the Mount Mary Hotel for lunch and loved the kind hospitality of the staff. Our daughter is celiac and the staff understood this and catered to her needs. The meals were fantastic! The chicken parmy was the nicest I've had. It was deceiving as it wasn't as big as others, but it was thicker, juicy and very filling! Everyone enjoyed their meals. While we were waiting for the meals the owner brought out some games to keep the kids occupied. We would definitely call in again, even if it means going out of our way. Thanks for the awesome meals!
