Wow what a place!! Free camping on the beach which is easily accessible with a 4x4 and a caravan, the sand further up the beach is soft but not a problem, go diving for blue swimmers you won't be disappointed, we had a great 4 days here 👍👍 drop toilets on entry

Great beach spot, plenty of room so people can spread out, good driving access onto the beach and no issues. Can be a bit windy but with a bit of shelter was a great spot to spend the day and plenty of people set up to camp.

Amazing beach, clear waters, clean, hard white sand to park on. Need to be completely self sufficient.
The wind will make it or break it for you. Beach camping the best but there is parking behind dunes if you need. Last year fishing was great, this year no luck.
Can't complain this is by far the best beach in SA out of both Eyre and Yorke.
There are 90 vans here minimum at the moment and still heaps of room.
I don't believe you need a permit for camping on the beach, I went on the council website and permit is only for the campgrounds and states 'NOT for beach'.

Incredible location for a wonderful few days away from it all. Watching marine wildlife swim by right in front of your view. Absolutely stunning

What a great beach. Clear white sand . Clear water. Amazing.... All campers are spread out wide. About half km apart as is a very long beach. Fishing? Well beers were better

My partner and I camped here for 2 nights recently and had an absolute ball! Multiple sites to pull into to camp with a caravan or tent, including directly on the beach if you’ve got the gear to get down there! Long drop facility available upon entry but no toilet paper or running water available, so bring your own. Beach is lovely and clean, water is amazing for swimming. And only 10 min drive to Port Victoria for a great pub meal. We will definitely be returning in future.

Great beach and camping. If only you could turn off the wind! Caught some blue swimmers diving from the beach. There is a toilet as you come in but would recommend to be self sufficient or have a shovel handy.. !

Beautiful beach. Easy to drive on and lots of space even if busy.

Great beach, awesome for the kids, take a paddle board and you can paddle with the dolphins.
Went there over the recent long weekend, only negative was some of the boat operators who didnt care about a pod of dolphins they decided to go at and over or the young kids on paddle boards or the kids that were swimming that they decided to drive through the area they were in, within 2 meters of them. The authorities need to police the use of boats when it is busy as the operators of some of the boats dont seem to have any common sense or care for wild life.

They would rather risk hitting kids or dolphins just so they can get to their fishing spot faster.

What a fantastic camping spot , got a spot rite by the ocean . Would definitely go here again , just buy your permit from York peninsula council online.

One of the best beaches in SA can get the van, camper or tent right on the beach absolutely magnificent a must visit and see
