I spent a few weeks here with my partner on a prospecting trip and absolutely loved it. Nicest and friendliest people run and own it. Either camp ground, caravan space or cabins. We used a cabin due to the weather and found it clean and well serviced. The cost was discounted for us due to off season and duration of our stay. A quality restaurant serving food that has a reputation of being very good in the locale.
I will definitely return here and recommend to anyone thinking of visiting,

Had a lovely time at the caravan park. Unfortunately it rained the whole weekend, so couldn’t make use of the fire pit or the barbie, but the cabin had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the toilets were sufficient. Make sure you take your own towel, though! Stone’s throw away from Walhalla, 40 minutes to the peak of Baw Baw, 30 to Trafalgar… plenty to do around! Don’t forget to check out their campsite pub for a meal. Best cob loaf I’ve ever had!

This is a very nice place and area in Rawson. The only criticism I have is that the bed in the main room, is a bit uncomfy and hurt my back. Other than that, it's great! There's a mini mart 2 minutes away by car and 11min walk. Very good.

Great facilities, this is the first and only powered campsite that had a private bathroom. There weren’t many animals around which seemed weird, hope it isn’t because hunting is allowed in the park. But it is a 15 min drive from walhalla and really close to bow bow mountains. The owner is really friendly too. Highly recommended!

i stayed here last weekend for 2 nights in a holiday cabin with my partner & child. The room was great - clean, tidy & had all that we needed and more. The owner/staff we fantastic - very nice & friendly always.
We ate at the Stockyard both nights and food was delicious.
Will definitely be coming to stay again. Thanks

It’s not often you find a place with massive sites, complimentary fire barrel AND private bathroom facilities all included. Went to the on site restaurant and the food and drinks were excellent! My only heads up, bring along some cash if you’re not bringing fire wood to save a long drive to the nearest ATM or servo. Love it! Will be back :)

Awesome camping area, all the feel of being out in the rough but with a toilet and shower on every site, and my favorite is campfires are allowed.
Great place to take the family with heaps of places to visit during the day with Walhalla down the road having a scenic railway and gold mining tours and the full historic town look.
Great area for dirt bikes and 4wd adventures.

We stayed in 'The Shack' cabin which was superb!! It has 2 bedroom, great kitchen and hot double shower. Fantastic value for 100 a night and has a queen bed and bunks in the second room. Has a lounge room with t.v. and board games to use. A split system and beautiful gardens to enjoy. An undercover outdoor area with fire pit topped the place off. The park its self is clean and has a general store nearby. The stockyard pub (onsite) does an outstanding Sunday 'all you can eat' lunch. Quality food. Highly recommended caravan park.

Nice people, very helpful. We “dropped in” last minute during a busy time, and they made room for us. The en-suite setups on site are very convenient, and nice and clean. Would definitely recommend. Reasonably priced too. Thanks guys

Stayed here with a Jayco Sterling as we wanted to visit Walhalla, but weren't keen to tow the van into that area. The camp is in a beautiful setting! The large sites are located in a semi circle around a "camp kitchen/get together" open ended shed. This shed contains sinks & a large pot belly stove for the cold nights, not that we needed them as it was very mild. The manager was very friendly and encouraged us to have an open fire if we wanted. We didn't, but saw plenty of fire pits on adjacent sites. The en suites are a bonus & whilst definitely NOT 5 star, they did the job. The local shop lady was lovely & more than happy to have a chat & give us sone ideas of what we could do. BTW, she also sold bottled wine which was reasonably priced as well as general groceries & take away food. We only stayed one night & being a week night, missed out on the tavern. It looked like it would be a good night, so hopefully we'll return to enjoy it. Highly recommend this camp for a one nighter as we did, to visit Walhalla, or stay longer to explore the area. Perfect for a group to bring their vans up, have an open fire & enjoy the ambience!

Great service. Helped me out when I needed to store my caravan for a few days as I did some 4x4ing in the high country for a very reasonable rate.
