Coora Valley Lodge

We had a really really awful stay there. Had a power outage on the first night, we had to move to another two accommodation in the middle of the night and splitting ourselves up. As they couldn’t fix the issue the next day, I believe something is fundamentally broken.

Let alone the electricity, this large lodge that accumulates 8 people has only 1 shower. The hot water was not continuous, and only last <5 minutes between 15+ minutes of reheating time. I can’t imagine how this would work in a snow mountain had we not moved out because of the outage.

This place advertised for pool table, dish washer and washing machine, blah blah, what’s the good of them if even the fundamentals are broken?

We have applied for a refund for all the trouble we had, and that the accommodation was in fact down graded to one much smaller lodge and some of us had to stay in backpacker room with shared bathroom. But we have never heard anything back from the owner.

Just stay away from this awful lodge.

We stayed in Cooa Lodge in 2022 towards the end of the season.

This place is not well looked after. The door to enter is broken, missing cue sticks, not looked after at all.

Extremely dissatisfied considering the cost to stay.
