Amazing hosts, stunning property with beautiful wines and lovely dogs 🐕
Didn't want to leave!
They've got an airbnb on the property as well, which looks like a wonderful stay all year round.
Highly recommended to pop in for a visit, a glass, or a bottle of wine 🍷 sit back and relax amongst the views or for a chat about the history of the area and a cuddle with the pooches.
Very reasonably priced wines, especially for the quality 👌

Beautiful wines... family owned cellar door + brewery with some of the oldest vines in the area with a lot of history and character. Can’t wait to be back and stay in the cottage. If you head to the more well known places in the area like Baileys be sure to check out this place too, just as nice if not nicer and no extra markup.

Just spent an enjoyable long weekend at Taminick cellars with live entertainment, food stalls and of course excellent wine and views.
Taminick is one of our favourite wineries in the area. It’s extremely understated and relaxed which is one of the reasons we love it! Great family owns and runs events here and we’re very happy to support them in any way we can

This evening I opened a bottle of Taminick Cellars 1992 Shiraz for a special occasion. It was SO smooth and aged perfectly. An amazing drop of wine!
Thankyou.

Taminick Wines and Black Dog brewery on site. A bit off the beaten track last few kms dirt road but we had no trouble in our motor homes - certainly worth the drive. Hubby enjoyed the beers especially the Russet Red IPA and the Belgium Dark Ale - I enjoyed the Chardonnay wish I tried the reds but it was morning time - we sat out the front in the sunshine looking across the vineyards, had a chat with Rob and Jenny - 4th generation wine makers. Reasonable prices as well.

Returned to this 100+ year-old family winery recently after our last visit many years ago. The reds are still incredible, with a depth of flavour I've rarely found elsewhere in Oz. Or, as my partner says: "I can taste the sun". The Chardonnay is also a cracker, with that same depth of fruit, and the Rose is an excellent dry style made from their recently planted Nero d’Avola vines. 4th generation James Booth is now the winemaker and while the reds still have obvious cellaring potential - we've put some past purchases down for 10 or so years - I found most of the current batch are also good drinking right now, with the tannins a bit less pronounced than some of the massive classic reds that Cliff Booth was known for. Under his son and now his grandson there has been an evolution of sorts, yet these are still unmistakably Booth's wines. The winery has a beautiful, unpretentious cellar door and now there's a brewery on site as well. Wines are also very well priced. For red lovers I can't recommend Taminick Cellars highly enough, and the Glenrowan and Rutherglen region in general has some real gems if you're willing to explore a bit, e.g. John Gehrig Wines.

Great old vine wines. If you're thinking of stopping in at Bailey's, come here first! It's 5mins around the corner and well worth it.
