Glenrowan Hotel

This pub is BRILLIANT, a MUST DO. Had dinner and drinks here, and the Publican Andrew and wife Jo, couldn't do enough for us, The place is cosy, friendly, has loads of character, great selection of local wines and good range of tap beer and drinks. Food is amazing and great quality, full of local produce. I had local lamb back straps, that were as good as I have had anywhere. Locals were great fun, and we had a ball. My wife and I were doing a 5000km road trip on the Harley, and this was the most fun we had. Got good local tips for the next days ride and things to see, and they were good enough to have the NRL on, and let us keep watching it, and be the last to leave on a Thursday night. Excellent location for Ned Kelly buffs too. Came to see the Ned Kelly sights, but this was the highlight of our time in Glenrowan.

Had the most refreshing, tasty chicken salad. Friendly country pub with so much happy vibes. The ladies who served us were absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for our memorable meal/day/visit.

We arrived at 5:15pm on one of the biggest nights in this area - the V8’s at Winton. The pub was fully booked out for dinner but they squeezed us in! Lovely meal, great service, would highly recommend.

Great! Definitely worth turning off the highway. Authentic OZ pub with rich history. Food was top notch (the specials were special!) with fast & friendly service. The kids got activity packs and I scored myself a Furphy promo beanie which I’ll be wearing with pride on the slopes.

A wonderful dinner was had by all our party, simple fare, excellently prepared and presented. Tuesday night specials are also exceptional value.

Friendly staff with a very good menu for a small country pub. Have stopped here a few times and the food is always excellent. Can get very busy on the weekends but you never have to wait long for your food

Great that you can sit anywhere to have your meal, which was reasonably priced and amazing and didn't wait long for your food to be on the table.

Food and serving sizes are really good. I had the Greek lamb salad, hubby had stuffed calamari and grandaughter chicken scallopini. No complaints from anyone.

Fantastic fresh food. Good selection of drinks. Pub fair at it's best, without all the wankery you see in inner city pubs. Steak of the day was fresh as a daisy and cooked perfectly.

What a great pub. Excellent bar and bistro food. Lovely staff. Definitely worth the quick detour off the Hume. This will be our standard lunchtime stop from now on.

Staff are friendly the guy behind the bar besides being tigers supporter is a crack up and so are the locals be back again soon

Best place in all the area to eat and have a drink, good and big meals, very good price, all the pub is brand new, very comfortable place to visit.

Went there on a Thursday night just a quick pop in. The bistro was almost full so I’m guessing the foods good.
