Aleem did my wedding dress and I'm glad I picked him! He made the whole process stress free, he was fast, and the dress was beyond stunning! My first born daughter was getting married. I thought easy, I’ll find a gown thats appropriate. Well was I wrong! Too young, too frumpy, too revealing, too short and on and on.
That’s where Aleem came into my life and our first meeting I just explained what I liked. He drew up a sketch in a few minutes and it was perfect.
He just was so professional and his eye for details was so incredible. I can’t thank him enough and my gown was adored by everyone. My daughter thought I looked so elegant and chic but most importantly I felt beautiful wearing his creation. Thank you Aleem and I have 4 children still to get married. Hopefully see you soon x

Best decision ever! I had my dress made for my wedding in Israel May, 2018. Aleem and Coco louise (the stylist) guided me every step of the way from choosing designs, colours, fabrics right through to matching shoes! From the moment I met the team, I knew I was in good hands. They have such great energy and you really feel like you are taken care of. They were super lovely to all my crazy questions and very accomodating to all my requests. Everything was just perfect and my dressed looked amazing. Having a custom dress is a decision that I would make again, because it was so comfortable all night and looked great from every angle! Thank you Aleem for making my dream dress!

Aleem made the most beautiful wedding dress I could have ever hoped for. I felt so incredibly beautiful and empowered and loved and special…and everybody at the wedding fell in love with every detail. In particular the way he was able to incorporate the lace from my mum's wedding dress just made the whole thing so much more special to the whole family. There are no words to describe how happy we are or how ridiculously and utterly perfect the day was. We genuinely could not have asked for a better day - thank you Aleem so much for the part you have played in this wedding for both my mum and me, we will never forget how amazing you were throughout the whole process - so patient, kind and collaborative. Aleem created my wedding dress during COVID and I never once was worried that he wouldn't be able to deliver. Aleem was so flexible in being able to create meetings online, was always on top of the news to reschedule fittings if needed, would be happy to schedule fittings after hours to make sure that I attended fittings unrushed and with a clear head, was patient and more than happy to play around and adjust the design together when I didn't have a clear vision. Aleem even texted me during a snap lockdown to assure me that the dress was at home with him and being worked on. Aleem was also able to thoughtfully and tastefully incorporate additional touches by helping me with incorporating something, old borrowed and blue into my dress. These little things were so huge for an anxious bride hoping to get married during a pandemic, and what I imagined to be the most stressful part of planning a wedding (the dress) was the only part that went so smoothly, was stress free and in fact the most enjoyable.

Aleem also created a stunning dress for my mother, ensuring that she would have a unique dress, that made her feel confident on the day, this meant the world to me!

Aleem was absolutely wonderful. When I walked in and met him, I knew straight away that I had found the right person to make my dress. Aleem designed and made my custom wedding dress. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. As a non fashion person, Aleem talked me through each step of the process and was very patient in explaining each component of my dress. Aleem went above and beyond to conduct extra fittings to put my mind at ease, and was always on the other end of the phone if I had an questions. He suggested design improvements as we progressed, which really finished off the dress to an extra level. I absolutely loved my dress, and couldn't have enjoyed the process more. Aleem is a very kind and gentle soul, who priorities his client's peace of mind and happiness. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aleem, and if you are on the fence about getting your dress made - definitely do it! My dress fitted like a glove, and it didn't move all day. I can't thank Aleem enough for the time and care he took with both me and my dress.

Aleem was absolutely amazing. I previously saw one of his dresses online, and he assisted me to make changes to that dress to become my dream dress. He provided so much feedback, and helped me see my vision. The process was so easy, and seeing the dress from the initial drawing to a complete bridal gown was a magical experience. And one that I got to share with Aleem, as he was just as excited as I was. He made me feel beautiful. My only regret is it's now over, I want to do it all again :) I'll definitely be going to him in the future for any dresses I need for corporate functions.

After months of unsuccessfully searching for a wedding dress and the date fast approaching I was so pleased to finally have found Aleem! Aleem turned everything around from the moment I met him! It was great to have all the stress of taken away and to be able to relax and enjoy the experience. I knew I was in good hands! I first fell in love with the beautiful fabrics Aleem showed me at our first meeting and was impressed with the sketches he drew up as he began to develop the design. In each fitting, the dress evolved to suit my body and he was both imaginative and receptive to my ideas as well. On the big day I felt magical and super comfortable in the dress. Weeks later, I am still getting compliments! I've even decided next time I'd like a special dress made I'll pay him another visit! I am really grateful to Aleem and I highly recommend him.

I was lucky enough to have a custom made gown by AY Couture for the national finals of Miss World Australia. Aleem made a beautiful dress that was perfectly designed for my body shape. He is a talented designer, creating unique and incredible pieces that are flattering and elegant. He was flexible with times for fittings and made the gown in such a timely manner.
