Lu Ton operated on my back in 2019 An L5S1 fusion He was compassionate and helpful with any post op questions I had ..hopefully won't need to but would always be confident to see him again

I had a fusion in 2021 and have had an amazing recovery which has led to being pain free for the first time in nearly a decade.

Not only is Mr Ton an amazing surgeon, he is an incredibly caring and patient man who has supported me throughout the whole process. I cannot recommend him enough.

Mr Lu Ton performed an L4-5 spinal fusion on December 13 2021. I have had a very good recovery and outcome from surgery. I am beyond grateful for his skills as I have now returned to riding and exercising daily without back pain and my usual R leg symptoms. I was not rushed into surgery and mr Lu Ton is a conservative surgeon who promotes wholistic care and advocates for the use of pre and post rehabilitation which really suits me as I am a physiotherapist. I am down to 80 kg from 108 kg 6 months before surgery and am on the way to my weight as a 20 year. I am ecstatic and grateful for mr Lu ton and his incredible skills and I highly recommend him as your surgery partner.

I had surgery in January 2019 lumber fusion by Mr Lu Ton. Mr Ton was very approachable and understanding of my condition. Not jumping straight into surgery Mr Ton had me have tests to make sure where my problem was. Everything possible was done and short of a miracle my surgery was a big success. Every day I am thankful to Mr Ton for the work he did for me. I had a five level fusion with 2 rods and 12 screws. I have been free of pain since the surgery in Jan 2017. I’m eternally grateful to Mr Ton as I can now walk without pain. He was always respectful and polite and listened to all my concerns. Thankyou so much!

My husband has his yearly follow up appointment with Dr Lu Ton tomorrow. He was in a lot of pain after a back injury 20 years ago. Over those years many surgeons turned him down for surgery and then we found Dr Lu Ton. He has changed my husbands life forever. We are so grateful. He is 39 years old and can now bend and put his socks on , kick the footy with our two little boys and have our 10 year old daughter climb up his legs and do a flip. My appointment with Dr Lu Ton was awesome. He was able to answer all my questions regarding my back pain and then done an amazing job to get me to the point of now being pain free. I would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone who suffers with shocking back pain.

My wife had a total artificial cervical disc replacement C4/5 (Prestige LP) due to a herniation. Mr Ton was happy to answer all our questions and thoroughly explained the procedure. Staff at the Epworth Richmond were excellent and the post op rehabilitation program was very good. It took my wife about 6 weeks to fully recover - she now has a full range of movement, virtually no scar, and the horrendous pre op nerve pain has gone. We both feel that Mr Ton is a compassionate surgeon who will go out of his way for his patients.

I had L45 discectomy with Mr Ton. Since waking from the operation, I have not experienced any pain whatsoever! This is a wonderful contrast from the months of severe pain I had suffered prior. My only regret is that I did not seek his help earlier; but hindsight is an advantage we do not have.

Mr Ton did such a fabulous job of my lumbar fusion surgery. I shudder when I think back how I was ‘walking’ prior to the operation and now – almost perfectly straight again. I feel so grateful for having my normal life back.

Dr Ton took extremely good care of me recently. Got me in to see him quickly and rushed me in for treatment. Would certainly recommend him.
