I’ve been here three times in the last fortnight because I’ve fallen so in love with their chicken burgers. Honestly best burger I’ve ever had! It makes me wanna cry of happiness because of how delicious they are 🥺 I’ve travelled twice over an hour just for these right before they’re due to close. Best food 🥰

The cutest food in Melbourne!
We all loved this place, particularly our Sanrio obsessed daughter who enjoyed a hello kitty Nutella bun. The chicken waffle burger was really tasty, and the buns were soft and very cute. Bit pricey for what you get, but it was a fun treat and we would do it again for the novelty of it.
Theres no tables inside, but plenty of tables in the laneway area (which is undercover, it’s part of the mall).

We had the Nutella and banana bao buns (7.50 each). The buns were steamed when we ordered so they came out hot. A little overpriced, but they are adorable. When we arrived at 3:30 on a Tuesday there wasn’t much of a selection left.

We were recommended to visit Son in Law Melbourne and they did not disappoint. We loved their food so much that we visited 3 times during our trip. They sell the cutest range of character baos, such as Hello Kitty, Snorlax and more. There is a cabinet containing different baos for different purposes, such as bao buns for burgers, Nutella and Banana baos, gao bao buns, pizza ones and plain ones. We ate a variety of things including the Snorlax burger for Mr 9 without the trimmings and they were so accomodating. We also tried the magic chocolate balls with Nutella crepe cake which was so yummy. The baos are delicious too. The chicken ribs with rice were so delicious and a generous serving.

I recommend getting there when they open because they get so busy.

Great friendly service and delicious food.

My partner and I got the cartoon burgers and havent been able to stay away since, theyre so adorable you almost feel bad to eat them but its always worth it. The sweet and savory of it really matches and it’s one of my favourite foods
Always come fresh and warm, wait time is rarely over 10 minutes and either way its always worth it :)
second picture is the first ones we got :))

Such a good food spot! The sweet bao buns are always amazing, my favourite is the nutella banana flavour. Good pricing for Melbourne Central, good serving sizes, incredibly cute designs

Located in Melbourne Central

The buns were super cute, pre made character buns displayed for you to choose from, then they take it to the back kitchen to put in the ingredients.

Small cute little niche, everything was good even the buns were super delicious. I thought it would look better than it tasted, but it was amazing.

Food:

🐖 Pork Belly
🐔 Fried Chicken
🦀 Soft Shell Crab

They didn't have unique drink selections just your average soft drinks etc.

We stopped by Son in Law during our 8 hour layover in Melbourne. We came by for late lunch as we landed around 3pm. There was still many character baos left when we arrived.

We got 2 character bao burgers: Vegan Chicken and Fried Chicken. We also got a soft shell crab character bao. Very delicious and super cute! Would come back if we happen to be in Melbourne again.

Our friends took us to this place, initially we had doubts about how the food would taste because of how cute they looked. But we were wowed by how delicious the food was. The fried chicken was delicious and juicy, the duck rice was flavourful, and the cute buns were very tasty as well, even the plain ones were yummy, the buns were soft and fluffy.
This was the only restaurant which wowed us during our visit to Melbourne.

It took a while for us to find the place, it is at the Ella precinct on the ground floor. It does not provide seating within the restaurant but there are a few seating area in front and beside it, otherwise there's seating in the food court above

Cute burgers with cartoon designs , a little expensive for 2 people cost me $56 for 3 bao buns and 2 mini burgers. You go here for the Instagram look but also taste good. Good to take kids. It is inside Melbourne central mall.

I can’t wait to come back with more friends to eat all the other cute cartoon food (and Awesome Appetites) they have to offer.

I remember walking past one time to only see a long line of people waiting to be served.

Lucky for me, I went and placed my order before peak hour (which is generally around lunch).

This meant we didn’t have to wait too long for our Awesome Appetites and was able to get a seat outside.

I had and would recommend their Cartoon Burgers with Fried Chicken & Waffle and their Sweet Cartoon Baos.

Their Thai Milk Tea and Young Coconut Meat Kaya are my favourite flavours.

And their Cartoon Burgers with Fried Chicken & Waffle was hard to eat without breaking the burger up into pieces but tasted AWESOME!!!

Cute Cartoon Bao Buns. Good for the anime loving kids (and adults!!)
Had chocolate and banana filled buns which was delicious

Down a rather amazing little street food vendor styled alley with quite a few tables.

Literally a minute or two walk from the free tram stops too!

Now located in Melbourne Central. Very cute sweet and savoury baos. Also have fried chicken, burgers and other savoury menu items to choose from. Wait time can vary depending on how busy they are but worth the wait.
Set #1 - 4 sweet baos - Nutella, bubble tea, kaya and plain
Set #2 - 3 baos - duck in peking sauce, glazed pork belly and soft shell crab

The food was so delicious and reasonably priced. For a bit extra, you can also get them as cute characters. Vegan options were available for no extra charge. Would definitely recommend.

A cute little chicken shop in the heart of Melbourne Central, are some insta worthy foods. This Thai style fried chicken is definitely a crowd pleaser.
Got myself the fried chicken in the original spicy with tbai style Jeew sauce with the FRIED CHICKEN AND WAFFLE BURGER 🤤🤤🤤.
Virtually had nothing all day, this definitely beats the KFC Zinger box 100000 times. They are also pretty good value too 🤌🤌🤌
Come down to these guys, they will not disappoint.

Came in and they said they had run out of the cartoon stuff because it’s to popular so if you want the cartoon stuff you should go early however there next batch of cartoon was only in 10 minutes so we waited and it was worth the wait they are so cute and tasty.

Very cute buns. The service is a bit slow but is friendly.
I wasn't expecting to taste good. But the burger bao was quite nice. Buns are soft. There can be a bit of a queue. And if you go late in the day most of the cute buns may be sold out
