The Cerberus Beach House

Restaurant with a view, lovely location, if you’re lucky enough to score a window seat you have a view of the bay.
Parking can be hectic if you come at peak times but there’s more parking higher up the road.
The service was great, the staff were very attentive & our meals came out quick enough even though it was a full house.
Drinks were good, they make an excellent espresso martini 🍸
Our meals were very nice, the prawn sliders were bigger than expected, served in a small sized bun, the scallops weren’t as soft as I’ve had before but still good.
The duck leg was the best duck I’ve ever tried, soft, tasty, tender & moist, it melted in my mouth. (Highly recommend if you’re a duck lover)
The gnocchi weren’t the little ball of fluff that one would expect in a fancy restaurant but were still nice, not a big serve, there were about 10 gnocchi in the dish.
A very nice experience, I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you get a chance, it has a lovely beach deco theme going on which really suits the location. You wouldn’t think it from the outside.

This place was impressive for many reasons....
1) Beautiful scenery, view and set-up
2) Amazing food, fish and chips is a common palate but they made it amazing, must try amongst many other food items. My son had two plates of spaghetti
3) Customer service was next level, most friendly warmth place I have been to in recent times. They genuinely looked like they cared for one another, customers and were one happy family
Must go to place for a nice occasion or just a casual one.

Anyone who follows my reviews will know I don't give 5s often. I visited here for the first time with my wife for a special occasion and the experience we had was special.
The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was excellent (went for the seafood platter and a souffle that rose beautifully)
and our view of the bay was awesome.
Some things to note
Sunday 6pm is a popular time. Best to book and book early for the best seats. It is not a huge space.
This is not a 'budget' dining experience.
The restaurant is on the upper level and is accessed by a set of steep stairs.

One of the best fish and chips I’ve tried. It is so busy during weekend and there’s a long line. There are few tables outside you can have your food. We read the opening hours would be after 17:30 but it was for the restaurant and the delivery option is available during the day.

Came out for a Sunday drive to Half Moon Bay for the most amazing clear waters.
We meandered upon Cerebus and although we didn’t have a reservation on such a busy Sunday, FOH accommodated us in quick time.
You would think it would take a while to get our drinks and food but nope! Our orders came in prompt fashion!
I had the summer greens salad and my partner had the radicchio walnut salad.
Highly recommend!

Absolutely lovely little fish and chip shop beneath the restaurant. I just ordered a snack and they gave me an extra potato scallop!

Couldn't wish for a more stunning location to celebrate my husband's birthday! Everything about our experience was faultless. Staff were warm, welcoming and the optimal level of attentive. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and unforgetable view. All dishes were exceptional, but we particuarly loved the scallops, market fish and basque cheesecake. A true gem just outside the city that's not to be missed!

Was gutted when we arrived to late for lunch service. But the takeout calamari was wonderful. Earing it next to the sea. Was very good.

A little hidden oasis tucked into the corner of Blackrock beach. Stunning views of the sunset across the bay and amazing food and service to match. Seafood always a speciality but plenty on offer to tempt any taste. Love this place and enjoy the early seatings. Will be back. Thank you team for making a celebration special.

Best decision ever to have my family from overseas here for lunch ! Terrific communication ,easy booking and everything was perfect. Fabulous beach atmosphere, happy vibe, sunshine, sea breeze, amazing views, great staff and the food - scrumptious !!

A lovely location for a Valentine's Day meal. We booked our table by the window when we were still in the UK and how we were rewarded!! From start to finish we were royally treated and our meals were superb. Thank you in particular to the charming Margot who looked after us and made what was a lovely experience, really memorable. We shall certainly be back one day. ❤ 😍

We had a birthday party and the Cerberus Beach House is ticking all the boxes. Starting from the initial phone booking, the staff is super nice, the food is beautifully presented and tastes awesome, and the place is cozy and not too loud inside, which allowed us to have conversations without the need of raising our voices. The last but not least - the views of the shore are simply magical! We will certainly be back for another occasion. Well done the Cerberus Beach House Team and keep it up.

Really great chips. Huge portions! I ordered a small chips & I thought they'd given me a large by accident! I suprised myself as I finished the lot. Crunchy and soft, pre-salted with the perfect amount of seasoning so they're ready to eat straight away. Ketchup was like crack, absolutely delicious, not sure if it's homemade but that stuff somehow tastes better than Heinz. Again, massive portion. Buzzing atmosphere right on the beach. Perfect way to finish the day at half moon Bay.

Bit of a hidden gem this place. Very nice and I think reasonably priced for what it is. The saganaki was excellent and this clam & nduja linguine dish was awesome. Definitely recommend.

Small takeaway / restaurant with some amazing views and perfect in the summer. Food was pretty decent, albeit a little pricey. Cocktails are available, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The venue is in a great location and is perfect for watching the sunset with food and drinks in the evening.

The restaurant above is also really great - the food is delicious, the staff are really friendly and attentive, and there's some really pleasant views across the bay if you reserve a window seat.

Car park can get very busy, and you need a parking ticket.

Perfect service, perfect food and perfect location. We totally enjoyed the whole dining experience. Staff were lovely, food was OUTSTANDING, and the wonderful views capped off a brilliant lunch. I am sure you will be seeing us again. Highly recommended.
