Baileys of Glenrowan

A lovely winery near Glenrowan. So much history at the winery. It was established in 1870. All fruit for wines is grown on site. Lovely old cellar door with a small museum inside. Had a lovely tasting. We ended up buying Fiano, Rose and the Classic Topaque. Nothing wrong with the Reds, we are just getting low on Whites. Definitely recommend. Great food, the wood fired pizzas are amazing, so tasty. The menu is not large but good variety and great value. The staff are very helpful, very efficient and know their product. The setting both inside and out is really pretty and really relaxed. Plenty to look at throughout the winery too.

We come here often as a family and will continue to do so for many years. The drive out is always spectacular with gorgeous views and immaculate gardens. The antipasto platters and pizzas are always amazing and the wine is fantastic. Although I do miss the fronti! However the Moscato and Topaque were delightful. The kids always have fun in the little designated play area and the staff are always lovely. Such a beautiful, relaxed and easy winery to visit. I would recommend booking because it has limited tables.

We had a great time tasting most of range of wines inside the beautiful cellar door, guided by the wonderful Janet.

Then we went outside for lunch in the sunny courtyard, where we enjoyed delicious pizzas and a shared platter.

We will be back!!!

I've been visiting this winery since the 80's as I am addicted to their fortified wines. As one would expect the staff in their tasting room are knowledgeable and mighty friendly. On this visit we left with some Winemakers Selection Rare Old Muscat, 2019 Small Batch Organic Rosé and 2019 Organic Fiano. This is a destination winery as it is well of the beaten track but it is definitely worth the effort to visit this winery that have been making fine wines since 1870.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere, child friendly with a play area.
Friendly, knowledgable staff...the young girl today reeled off desserts with no hesitation.
Then there's the delicious food and full flavoured wine, my favourite in the region.

Fantastic local winery that is worth a visit if you in the area.
Kitchen open for lunch, with tasty pizzas.
Wines are reasonably priced, with a good selection of sweet, dry, red & white.

Great woodfire pizzas and wine (piano). Beautiful outdoor seating. A lovely way to spend a Sunday lunch.

We had a lovely day at Baileys. We enjoyed tasting a good range of white and red wines. The staff were so welcoming and had good knowledge of the different wines . We then enjoyed a lovely light lunch sitting in the pretty gardens. The food was delicious. Thanks for a lovely day.

It was our second time here in as many years, wonderful to be back and enjoying the splendid wine, and food, surrounds and exceptional service.

First time visit, Nick behind the Bar serving Wine tasting and sharing his knowledge of the history of the winery and types of Wines the Vineyard produces, We will be back to have lunch and eat in the tranquil gardens very soon.

Superb. Super friendly people out there. Beautiful setting. Probably the best pizza that we have ever eaten and wonderful wine. Probably the best of the wineries in North East.

We had lunch there today it was fantastic. The service from the moment we got there was great. Tasting, wine and food could not fault it.

The grounds are amazing and the food and wine hold their own.

Beautiful place to visit , delicious pizza and wine

Best experience! We arrived at the winery without planning. The place is so neat and elegant, you feel the wine atmosphere the minute you enter the property. The winery museum is so interesting. The food was generous and very good, especially the meat and cheese platter. The wine was great. Above all the hospitality was so lovely, friendly and warm. Jannette, whom I assume is the owner, is a cheerfully welcoming person that made our lunch and wine tasting to an amazing experience. Will definitely return!

Everyone had a fantastic day celebrating our birthday’s. Food was tasty and staff were fantastic. Will definitely be back. The ambience is so peaceful and garden setting is as good as it gets. Highly recommend

We had a beautiful relaxing day sitting in the garden, eating our fabulous pizza's and dessert accompanied by a few drinks and, being looked after by such lovely friendly staff. Service was excellent.
